Remaining December Schedule

I'm making this post because December is a month in which I have to do traveling to visit family which makes the month a little unpredictable. Tomorrow the biweekly WIP update will be posted. Wednesday I'm having a Pokemon Elite 4 gaming stream on Twitch which will probably be the last stream I do for the month (follow my Twitch to know when I'm live or be in my the discord server or follow my Twitter). Thursday night I am going to leave my apartment and start traveling. I should arrive at my family's home on Friday morning. The second two-wips-a-week post will be made on Saturday because I don't expect to have much time and energy to get many things done on Friday.

I will be working on Patreon stuff while I'm in another location visiting family but I can't predict how fast I will get stuff done. I expect the Deer Chosen One update to be finished before the end of December. I don't currently expect the Foxes game to be finished by the end of the month unless I make the game extremely short. I do expect to spend the last few days of December on the Foxes game.

I will probably try to set up some annual payment options of tiers starting in January. Monthly payment method will still be a thing. I've unlocked the ability to have annual payment option to tiers on Patreon but I haven't turned it on and Patreon doesn't allow me to preview its options if it's off, thus I can't say a lot on the subject right now. I plan to have a little bit of discounts on certain tiers if done through an annual payment. However I don't plan on having discounts through the annual payment for commission tiers because the money from commission tiers basically goes toward funding a commission. Although doing an annual payment of a commission tier would allow you to spend a year worth of commission credit all at once or spread your commission credits out equally each month or you can save the commission credit until you decide to use it. I'm waiting until January to make annual payment method option available because I'm dropping the lowest tier in January and I don't want people attempting to sign up to that tier for a whole year while I'm trying to get rid of it.

CHANGE TO BASIC $1 KOBOLD TIER IN JANUARY 2022 [if you're not in the most basic Kobold tier then the below does not apply to you and you can stop reading this post]

A reminder that I will be getting rid of the $1 Kobold tier in January.

I will get rid of the $1 Kobold tier a few days after the start of January. If you're currently in the $1 Kobold tier and you want to wait until January 1st to switch tiers then that is okay with me. The $1 Kobold tier is the lowest tier.  

The next lowest tiers are the $2 Otter and $2 Kobold ★. Otter and Kobold ★ have features the $1 Kobold doesn't have. Otter has access to vote in polls while Kobold ★ has monthly WIP access. 

Patreon says I currently have 17 patrons in the $1 Kobold tier. I checked and it's 14 active patrons and 3 declined patrons for this month of December. According to Patreon, declined patrons don't have access to posts until their payment goes through, so those three declined patrons don't actually have access to this post until their payment goes through. To the 14 kobolds who can currently read this: remember to change your tier in December or January!

I am going to set up a visible limit to the $1 Kobold tier in January to prevent new people from signing up to that tier in January while I wait for people to change tiers. The limit is to prevent people from signing up to the tier. The limit is not meant to keep a spot for those currently in the tier.

If you don't change your tier and we're several days into January, then I will delete your patron membership to my Patreon and will have to refund you the $1 for the month of January. Refunding isn't a fun process, so if you plan to ditch my Patreon because you don't want to pay $2, then you should cancel your membership in December. Canceling your membership in December will still allow you to have access to my Patreon for the remaining days of December.

I will send a message on Patreon to those who don't switch or cancel. One message will be sent in late December and another message will be sent in early January. As a reminder, Patreon messages can be found at https://www.patreon.com/messages and Patreon's default settings will probably result in you receiving an email as well. So if you ignore your emails and ignore your Patreon messages and ignore this post and ignored the hyperlinked post (which was made in November) and you stay in the $1 tier several days into January, then you can expect your membership to be deleted and refunded.
