Future November Changes: Strategy Guides/Scene Selection Generators/New Tiers

I'm going to add and change a few things starting in November. Prices below are listed in USD (Patreon converts prices for other currency. I do not control the price Patreon converts it to).

Strategy Guides & Scene Selection Generators Changes

Strategy Guides will go from $2 & up tiers to $3 & up tiers. The only tiers that will experience changes are Otter and Kobold ★. Those tiers will no longer have strategy guides starting in November.

Scene Selection Generators will go from $3 & up tiers to $4 & up tiers. The only tiers that will experience changes are Otter X and Kobold ★★. Those tiers will no longer have scene selection generators starting in November.

Note: By upgrading your tier by a dollar, you will receive more than just strategy guides or scene selection generators. Otter X is a dollar more upgrade of Otter and includes monthly WIPs which Otter does not receive. Otter X2 is a dollar more upgrade of Otter X and includes biweekly WIPs and their vote is doubled in polls which Otter X does not receive. Kobold ★★ is a dollar more upgrade of Kobold ★ and includes biweekly WIPs which Kobold ★ does not receive. Otter X is also technically a dollar more upgrade of Kobold ★ and includes the ability to vote in polls while Kobold ★ cannot vote in polls. Kobold ★★★ is a dollar more upgrade of Kobold ★★ and includes weekly WIPs which Kobold ★★ does not get.

I'm not actually changing any prices to the existing tiers, I'm simply (on November 1, 2021) going to go to the posts that contain the strategy guide files and scene selection files and edit those posts to limit the tiers that can see them.

Why I'm making these changes? Patreon charges me Payment Fees and Platform Fees. The amount I pay for each has steadily gone up the past few months so I'm moving up some goodies a dollar up in starting tier prices. Also each month I tend to get at least one new patron who signs up and then immediately cancels their subscription. Those individuals are usually in the $2 and $3 tiers and it's obvious they only sign up to receive strategy guides (or scene selection generators) exclusives and then ditch out once they receive them. Patreon has no easy way for me to have separate tiers for new patrons and loyal already-existing patrons so I can't have a different price for both groups. I now have enough strategy guides and scene selection generators that it feels like crap when someone spends only a one-time payment of $2 or $3 to receive all my works and then ditch because I've put a lot of time in my works and it's devaluing its worth as well as my worth as a creator. I know there are a lot of Patreon creators that charge higher prices. I don't blame someone for taking advantage of my cheap prices but it sucks when it happens so often so I'm removing those goodies from the cheapest respective tier. Additionally, my main computer unexpectedly broke in August and the new computer that I bought (which I'm supposed to receive late October...currently experiencing shipping delay) costs more than two months of what I currently make from Patreon so any additional money helps with that cost.

NEW TIERS

Starting in November, I'll have two new commission-type tiers.

One new tier will be a $20 Strategy Guide/Scene Selection Generator tier. Each month, the patron in that tier can request one of the following: #1: a new strategy guide for a game that currently lacks a strategy guide; #2: a new scene selection generator for a game that currently lacks a scene selection generator; #3: an update to a strategy guide with any requested more detailed content; or #4: an update to a scene selection generator with any requested more detailed content. This will not affect the monthly scene selection generator polls. If a patron is in this tier and requests a new scene selection generator, then there will be two new scene selection generators for that month (1 request based off tier + 1 based off monthly polling). A patron in this tier can also vote in polls and will receive two WIPs updates a week.

The other new tier will be a $25 Minotaur Maze Madness X2 tier. Each month, the patron in that tier can request 4 new additional/alternate scenes to be added in Minotaur Maze Madness and I'll add those scenes to the game. Those scenes can only involve existing combination of characters. For example: satyr player (alone without partner) + minotaur NPC can receive an additional/alternate scene. Satyr player + werewolf partner + sharkmen NPCs is not something that can receive additional/alternate scene because the pairing does not currently exist in the game (all three creatures are in different areas of the game and don't interact). The new additional/alternate scenes can be all of the same combination or it can be split into different combinations. For examples: 4 new minotaur player + minotaur NPC scenes; or 1 new sharkman player + sharkmen NPCs scene & 1 new minotaur player + minotaur NPC scene & 1 new human player + minotaur NPC scene & 1 new human player + human partner + minotaur NPC scene would each be valid requests. All potential valid combinations can currently be viewed in the Minotaur Maze Madness scene selection generator. A patron in this tier can also vote in polls, their vote is doubled in polls, and the patron will receive two WIPs updates a week.

Each new tier will only have available one patron spot each. The tiers will be created on November 1 (or November 2 if in an earlier timezone).
