Sometimes it happens that you feel happy about the pose, the composition, proportions and all that, so you move on to cleaning the piece, but something that's reaaaally important is to take breaks and step away from work from time to time so you can catch stuff with fresh eyes.
In this case, i saw the first progress and was almost sick looking at it "i'm better than this, i can do better!" i said to myself, so i said screw it and redid the whole thing all over again.
Moral of the story, try to step away and look at the whole picture more often so you don't have to redo everything lol
