We're hard at work getting May's upcoming release "Exploring Extorris" ready to ship. In it, we introduce an offshoot of mages from the Mages' War that - rather than standing in opposition to The Blank as the newly formed Arcanuum or retreating into the earth and becoming the Edynites - fled for their lives into a nearby demiplane and became refugees living in a new peaceful, alien-like realm. One of the invasive creatures in this new plane of Extorris is the Parastid - check it out for WIPWednesday
"...Parastids are parasitic creatures native to Extorris that have resulted in the metamorphosis of thousands of other creatures, slowly overwhelming regions and converting all living creatures within the area into parastids. The parastid cycle starts with a larvae that eventually infects a host - feeding off of it while becoming a grub, before finally erupting from the host as a full fledged adult parastid...."
