February is (quickly - yikes!) approaching us, so here's another sneak peek at what's to come! We previously shared the Warlock subclass - Pact of the Mothman, so here's the patron itself - the Mothman! Check out an excerpt below, and stay tuned for more!
While Mothman’s purpose is unclear, any who have gazed into his eyes declare Mothman to be a creature of horrible evil, and any that linger in his presence for too long are often plagued by madness, delusion, and paranoia. Those who have seen him describe an overwhelming feeling of unease and despair which takes months if not years to shake off.
Mothman is said to be spotted near the location where a horrible tragedy or accident is about to take place. Whether Mothman is the cause of these tragedies, his mere presence summons them, or he is simply attempting to warn others of the impending catastrophe remains a mystery. Because of his unsettling presence, most assume Mothman is the cause of these tragedies, one look into his horrifying eyes convincing them this is a creature of pure evil, twisting fate and the natural order in the worst possible way.
