Sorry for the delay on this one Og Muvateer’s! 😞 Due to the hurricane, I’ve been out of power for a bit. However, I did manage to find some WiFi and draft this together for you guys since it was ready! 😁

With the ideas that I have heard from some of you, someone mentioned being able to have their sims receive welfare benefits. Well, here you have it. A Welfare Benefit Career Track (Rabbit Hole).

I know, I know. A little bit of a controversial thing (MAYBE) BUT, you ask and you shall receive. So as a disclaimer again, my game-play is NOT for everyone. If this does not interest you, DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT. Okay... now that this has been said, back to business!

This should appear as a part-time career although the hours can range from 4 - 8 hours shifts. As you promote of course, you will be able to earn additional wages but this will not be easy. To make things more realistic, your sim will have objectives to learn certain skills that will help them either excel in full-time careers or began to earn money on their earn, whether by writing or selling paintings.

Just like real life, this should not be a crutch for your sims at all as the wages start very low ($5 an hr) BUT if you have multiple sims within the household that have this employment, it is possible to "work the system" as they promote. When testing with 3 sims, I was actually able to make up to $3000 a day so have a ball either striving to the top using the system or just living off of it.

Since I have not yet been able to figure out an actual way to implement food stamps, your sims will receive a bonus each time they promote to balance things out a bit. However, this bonus CAN RANGE so work hard... or not. It's up to you.
