april 2025 update: life difficulties & the interim

hi everyone! last time i posted here i mentioned that i was feeling pretty exhausted with my living situation and that i was gonna try to find an apartment somewhere (preferably out of town). i also mentioned that i hadn't been able to work on new videos due to stress and exhaustion.

TL;DR: i'm still trying to solve these issues and i'm still having difficulty working on big projects. but i might make a shorter video in the interim.

in april i reached out to some social workers who have been helping me throughout this process. they've been carefully studying my situation and getting in touch with people deeper in their network. i get the occasional update but they can be quite slow. regardless, i got a hold of some listings and some numbers which i called. unfortunately... none of them were available, so the search for a place will continue. there's also been some attempted scams lol. i hate the world.

it's unlikely that i'll be able to move out of town right now, but there might be other temporary solutions. there's a few other resources i'm gonna be tapping into, but they will take a while to bear fruit. i'm expecting a lot of annoying paperwork in my near future.

having said all of that, i've been tossing around ideas for a new video—something shorter and simpler. i just started working on it so i don't have much to say yet! keep in mind that i'm not doing well mentally. i'm exhausted, overworked and cold (oh yeah, it's winter down here). progress will be slow and i need a lot of patience. like i said, i've had to survive a lot of insane stuff that i wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. i lack many basic resources and it's taking a huge toll on me.

the ultraman video is still happening, but not right away. i wanna do it justice! it's also not a good idea to jump from huge project to huge project, since my last video took a very long time to make and i don't wanna get burnt out. my channel is not one of those that only puts out 2 hour videos every 8 months. i don't wanna work like that.

...oh yeah, i released some music earlier this month which you can listen to here! it will probably be out on streaming platforms sometime in the coming weeks.



besides that, well, i'm still writing poetry and other things as always :-)
