This was possibly the most powerful film, I had viewed in the late 90s & early 2000s, and in fact still is to this day. It's a credit to the direction, the writing, the acting, all of it when I am emotional throughout the whole of watching American History X. I had a lot more I wanted to say, but I think the emotion got to me on this one, having trouble remembering 😂 I'll just say you're right; hate cannot beat hate. We need love & laughter in our lives, as wonderfully demonstrated by Lamont to Derek. We need far more of it. To our anonymous requester for this movie, thank you. This was an extraordinary film to put forward, it's amazing, powerful, Kemi your insight as always is a delight to listen to. I appreciate this all so much.

2022-11-05 13:43:11 +0000 UTCI know there are some that don’t like this film but in a way that is good. It is doing what it is supposed to do. Not an easy watch by any stretch of the imagination but I have always liked that it is not a one dimensional film. Thanks for giving this a chance
