I saw it in the theater when the film was released in 1984, and I thought it was a very powerful film. Sally Field won her second Best Actress Oscar for her role in this movie. I knew that you would enjoy the film, but I had forgotten how emotional the film could be. I was just as emotional, watching along with you. Thank you so much for your reaction. 😀
