2022-07-27 09:36:03 +0000 UTCI'm so ecstatic that you watched this, it was my favorite as a child. I also wanted to let anyone who has a love of this know that there is a broadway revival that should be starting soon (they just left their first run at the American Repertory Theater and are going to Roundabout NYC next before touring the US) with a cast entirely made up on women and nonbinary people. I've seen it twice and it was absolutely phenomenal, I hop and pray for a cast recording someday. They took everything I loved about this movie and modernized it. The cast is also incredibly diverse and the woman who plays John is incredible. Not many people know about it outside of where it started in Massachusetts (I'm from Connecticut and I drove two hours both ways each time) so I can't help but gush.
