2021-03-25 02:52:21 +0000 UTCI love this song but this is a remixed version they did for radio that I don't think is nearly as strong as the original version that appears on their album "Honey Lingers." The album version is more organic and guitar-driven, and features harmony vocals from the guys in the band, whereas this version is synth-driven and a drum machine and while the backing vocals are nice, I think it loses something not having the guys there. This is my way of saying I urge you to track down the original and take a listen and see what you think. (Honey Lingers is available on Spotify so you can hear it there.) I can't wait for you to react to "I Say Nothing," their signature song and the one Tracey says is her favorite song she's ever written.
