I grew up with Salt n Pepa. I'd blare their beats at the beach in the days of cassette tapes. The days of "Rock Rhyming". I still remember most of the lyrics of their songs. They are one of my go-to bands when I am feeling depressed. This was the first song of their's I heard and I was hooked forever. The oversized Bomber Jacket became part of my hiding from society fashion for a few years
