Back in 1983 everyone that listened to pop radio (BILLBOARD 100 MUSIC) knew this song. They played the heck out of it. It was almost like you couldn't escape from hearing it(😆) It did managed to reach the top of Billboard so that explains why it was so popular. The video as you've seen was unique in its own right.
