I remember having sex education classes in JHS (JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL) because they were so concerned that we were going to figure it out how to do it on our own so young. They really pushed the use of condoms amongst teenagers. It was especially true in our communities(BLACK and HISPANIC COMMUNITIES) So if you didn't have sex without the use of a condom it felt like committing a felony. That's how it was translated into the music back then.
