2024-04-03 08:31:35 +0000 UTCThe flat you are considering buying sounds amazing! I hope you get it. I’m one of your survey’s X11 users, but not by choice. I prefer Wayland, but I use a Nvidia Optimus laptop with an external RTX3060 eGPU in a Razor Core X enclosure directly attached to a large 2k monitor. Wayland simply doesn’t work with this setup; I can enable the external display but it experiences massive lag and is effectively unusable. Something about Wayland’s eGPU video pipeline is simply not right. I intend to change to Wayland as soon as this problem is fixed.
