I had to ask the great Google if anybody died of Mentos and soda. The status is thankfully false. The urban legend was that it two Brazilian children.. Actually on occasion even news papers have accidentally printed urban legends. I was horrified to read that some woman got a bat tangled in her hair. I was properly horrified. I had always thought that, that was an old wives tale. The embarrassed news paper retracted the story the next day. It was many, many years ago.

Actually God bless all of the dogs that have served in the military. In WWII after a call out for dogs for the military. Families sacrificed their beloved family family members to that call out. There were families that frequently wrote to the military to check that beloved dog was still okay and being treated well.

Mile’s uncle is a veteran of the military.
Kevin thinks Mile’s uncle was a veterinarian in the military.

It definitely happened in the 90s too. YouTube just revealed the secret to more.

I can clearly remember soda and mentos being a thing in my childhood and I graduated high school in 94. Admittedly pop rocks and soda had more urban legend cache. I heard a kid died 😳

Great joke, but is this still in the 80s (or 90s)? Isn't soda w/ Mentos a 21st century method of messy fun? Or maybe they're forward-thinkers? 😉
