PSA 2020-01

Hi Everyone!

First, I would like to take this chance to formally thank my Patrons and followers/fans of various social platforms.

I joined the scene in late 2018, after convincing myself to pursue my passion as a digital artist. During this past year and a half, I have been constantly learning and improving my skills, in the hope of delivering artworks of ever-higher quality to those who support me.

However, as time goes by, I've noticed that there are always Patrons who spot-support just to scoop up all my past work and quit within days, or sometimes even within an hour, intentionally exploiting my good-will of not overly commercializing. I even dedicate more time NOT to answer commission requests, just so I can spend more effort on artworks for the monthly Patron tier rewards.

Of course, I don't blame them. It's more of my own naiveness of not understanding how Patreon works best, and how to maintain a good balance on delivering to my true supporters while getting paid fairly to sustain.

So after some consulting with friends/fans who are more familiar with the scene, I have decided to make some revisions to my Patreon page.

The bottom line is that if you are not one of those spot exploiters, your ongoing rewards do not get affected negatively.

The changes revolve around means of delivery, to counter malicious exploits of the previous structure, and also to adjust some imbalances between existing tiers. No new tiers will be added at this time.

List of changes (effective Feb 2020, unless otherwise specified):

1. Artworks' Full Versions (JPGs in full resolution, without a watermark) would only appear in their designated Packages.
2. Access to my past artworks is moved to my Gumroad profile.
3. Core tier Patrons get an expansion (plus 1 NSFW art). This will be delivered in Full Version this month (Jan 2020). Starting from Feb 2020, Full Version would only be included in the packages (see change 1).
4. Support tier Patrons get Support Packages.

On top of the above changes, I have also included Terminology and Q&As in the About section to clarify and answer some common questions.

I sincerely hope these changes to have a healthy impact to grow my Patron-base, so that I can continue on this path that I love, and create more artworks that you enjoy.
