Maze of Roses (22x22, 200px) - Free Valentine's Day Map

The trail of petals leads to a maze of rosebushes, its entrance flanked by a pair of stone knights bearing torches. The wind rises, lifting the bed of petals with it, and they dance around your ankles for a moment before settling once again.

For this month's free map, I decided to go with a full-sized map for Valentine's Day instead of another mini-map - I hope you like it!

Perhaps the party came to this maze as they'd heard its owner, an eccentric nobleman, offers a generous prize to the first couple to complete it - unfortunately, the maze is actually part of an elaborate ritual sacrifice to a long-forgotten deity. The mysterious rite calls for a pair of lovers or friends to struggle against some hardship and seek the ritual site willingly - as such, they must overcome the challenge of the maze, and they must aim to find its center, though it's of little consequence whether or not they know what prize awaits them.

My maps are made with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they usually come with day/night, edited/unedited, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs, WebPs with transparent backgrounds, and UVTT (DD2VTT) files for Foundry VTT if the map features buildings or interiors.
