As you wander through the sea of trees, you find it - a stone monolith, standing tall in the midst of a clearing. From the tree line you can just about make out faded etchings along its length - you recognise only a handful of the runes. The other, unfamiliar, carvings, strike you as almost otherworldly.

I'm back after the holidays, and I'm ready to start making maps again!
I spent a lot of 2022 working on battle maps, and while I do really love the process, I've found it difficult to keep up with producing 5 battle maps a month. Rather than cutting that number down to 4, I've decided that one of the 5 maps per month going forward will be a free mini-map.
This way I'll be able to experiment with locations and settings I've always wanted to without having to worry about the broader surroundings, which is something that's held me back from working on a handful of locations I've really wanted to work on for a little while now. Plus, because of the small size of these maps, I'll also be able to experiment more with new techniques and extra details!
Not to mention the fact that it will reduce the risk of burning out again - after what happened with Ravenloft in January/February last year, I'm determined to avoid that again...

My maps are made with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they come with grid/gridless, day/night, edited/unedited, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs, WebPs with transparent backgrounds, and UVTT (DD2VTT) files for Foundry VTT.
