The ice strains underfoot as you make your way across the river's icy shell. A sudden crack, and you lose your footing, falling into the biting waters.

Continuing with seasonally appropriate maps, I wanted to work on a location that would make use of ice that could be broken to make things interesting in combat, and I decided that a bridge of ice forming a river crossing fit the bill quite nicely.
It took quite a while for me to get the bridge itself to a point that I was happy with it, but I am pleased with how it turned out. Let me know your thoughts!

I made this map just before Christmas, but wanted to make a more seasonally appropriate map to release on Christmas Eve, which is where the Yuletide Feast map came from. I should have scheduled this post to release today, but instead just figured I would post it on the day.
I'm currently in the US, where I will be until near the end of March. I should be getting back into map-making again very soon, but I'm taking a few days to just enjoy being here and recover from the grueling day of travel it took to get here a little bit first.
Happy New Year, friends - thank you once again for all of your support. I never would have dreamed this map-making venture would do so well, yet here we are. So, thank you, and I look forward to seeing where else we shall go together!

My maps are made with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they come with grid/gridless, day/night, edited/unedited, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs, WebPs with transparent backgrounds, and UVTT (DD2VTT) files for Foundry VTT.
