A frayed rope hangs from the branches of a dead tree sitting atop the hill, swaying in the breeze.
Ravens gather in its ruin, peering down at you with curious eyes.
Something stirs amongst the roots, and the ravens take flight.

Another map for the Halloween season, the Hangman's Copse.
Perhaps the site is haunted by the ghosts of those who have been executed there, or perhaps the hangman himself still dwells beneath the tree?

Due to the fact my maps are getting more and more detailed over time, I'm likely going to transition to using 20x20 as my standard map size - with the 30x30 size, it takes me so much longer to add the extra foliage and detail that my maps require, and ultimately I think the work suffers for it. If folk really like the extra space though, I'll try to find a way to keep it without sacrificing much in the way of quality!

My maps are made with assets from Forgotten Adventures and AoA (bolstered with assets of my own making here and there), and they come with grid/gridless, day/night, edited/unedited, and light/lightless variants, plus JPEGs, WebPs with transparent backgrounds, and UVTT (DD2VTT) files for Foundry VTT.
