The Great Farewell

For those who missed my initial sketch posts, I mentioned that I've had this idea for over a year now but it's been too depressing to paint it out. But I've finally done it and while it hurt, it felt necessary. I have several other ideas with similar themes and I'll be slowly working my way through them as well. I don't know what these paintings can even accomplish anymore, since so many of our climate tipping points have already passed, but if my art can make even the tiniest difference, then maybe it'll be worth it. 
in other news, I'll be moving to Sweden in mid October so my schedule has been hectic with a thousand and one things that I must do before I can complete the move. Sorry I haven't been able to paint as much as I normally would. Thank you all for being so understanding during all this.
