I really love this cage skirt series. But when it comes to *releasing* the animal, your wolf comment made me think of my husky, who could escape from anywhere at any time,so long as she wasn't expected to look good doing it. I don't paint, but please imagine a beautiful girl with coarse, wavy dark brown hair. Her green toga-styled dress flows gracefully over the cage in draping swaths of silk. One edge is torn. The husky has pulled that part into the cage through the bars and shredded it out of boredom. She has also managed to pry the door outward at the bottom corner, leaving the latch untouched. Her silly happy face is squooshed out of the cage, and it's only a matter of time for the rest of her to be free. The girl is face palming. She has just realized the husky has upended the water bowl over her toes in the last flail to be free. The husky is outside the cage now. Free to do anything she wishes, she throws herself dramatically to the floor within inches of the cage and falls asleep after singing the song of her people.
