When will Rewards be sent? Q&A

I've been getting some questions from people about when the HD files, video processes, and 3D models will be sent to them. I'm very new to Patreon myself so please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, Patreon only charges patrons at the beginning of the month, and then it takes a few days to process.

That means even though you've pledged to pay, you haven't actually paid yet, and you won't pay until early April. Patreon set up the system this away to minimize credit card transaction fees. For example, if you pledged multiple $1 to many creators, instead of charging you multiple times for $1 and paying transaction fee for each $1, they wait until the end of the months and add up all the $1 and charge you the total at the same time, thus paying only one transaction fee.

But that also means creators like me won't actually get any of the money pledged until April, and any patron can back out of pledging right before April. This is why many creators send out the rewards after patrons are charged at the beginning of each month.
