The new leather gear makes him feel incredibly dominant, and it's clear the local subs agree. But they're so stiff, he can hardly convince himself to get up to do anything except work out or go acquire more subs at a bar. And with how many subs he has worshipping him why would he? (Cursed leathers? Corrupting demon? Brainwashed by a sub?) Everyone around him keeps commenting on how much he's changed, the extra weight, the provocative outfits... the more he changes, the more disgusted his old friends get with him. But there's no curse here; he's just finally accepting who he always was and wanted to be. Now that he's done that, he's finally free of the curse of others' expectations that had transformed him into a monster he could never love. (Typical TF but no MC elements? Expectations are a literal curse he's trying to escape?) Misc thoughts: One of my favorite past stories was the one about the house filled with sentient cursed clothes. Would love to see that idea revisited. Your works with demons or other direct corrupters often feature strong antagonists; I think you have a talent for writing strong characters, especially in longer works. Maybe experiment with vignettes again, or telling longer stories within the glimpses afforded by microfiction? If this was helpful, I'll try to think of more. I've been a big fan of your work for a long time, and it's honestly helped me a lot with accepting myself.
