So, this is the first part of a story written back in 2013. After 7 years, the story will continue in Ginger Jewel 2.

The character name is Ulya (most likely the full name is Ulyana).
However, there is a very interesting game of words. Ulya is a roe deer. In Russian the roe deer sounds like 'Kosulya'. And Soyuzmulte wanted to outplay this sound combination, so they took 'Ulya' from 'Kosulya'.
