School Work from this week!
Added 2024-10-18 16:00:13 +0000 UTCThis week I worked on building a short storyboard for a 15 second 3D animation which will be my final project for next semester! It was really fun to try to come up with something funny, short, and without any dialogue. Here are the boards so far (still a work in progress), the exploration and a warm up page with figure drawing.
In my lighting and composition class we are working on translating an old drawing which was provided to us into 3D space with proper lighting, colors and textures. I'm still working on it but here are two shots from how it's turning out so far and lastly the reference I was provided for it.

I'm animating a teenage girl having fun and dancing very awkwardly because she thinks no one is watching but the gag is that she tried to do a little twirl, falls, and then realizes her brother had been recording her the whole time by the door.
