My Patreon support seems to have jumped significantly this month. Thank you! It means a lot to me.
For you new supporters, I'm not sure if you've seen any of the rewardcontent this month. I think Patreon changed things up so that new patrons don't begin seeing reward content until after their first pledge goes through. Don't worry, tho, I'm posting two pages a week through www.thesprawlcomic.com this month, and there's a lot of great content Patreon coming to you. I've got desktop ...

And that is it for the double-sized page dump. I hope you enjoyed it.
For those pledging $5 or more per page I will be back on the 15th with page breakdowns and maybe a couple more bonuses.

I really enjoy the detailed city shots, but they take a lot more time to draw and colour so I never get to spend as much time on them as I like.

Ooo, just realized I should have put "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear" in the mirror in that second panel.

Hey everyone,
As I figure this "crowd funding" thing out, I'm in the process of rethinking the rewards and goals for the Patreon campaign. For instance, starting next month I'll be posting additional content for everyone who is pledging $5 or more per page. That content will include step-by-step breakdowns for all pages posted on the first of that month, as well as concept art once I begin putting everything together for LOG:04.
Patreon seems to have updated th...

That's it for the June update. Next month we enter the final stretch towards the end of the chapter and we get into some of the crazy detailed backgrounds I'll be filling those pages with.
Before the end of this chapter there will be answers to some of the questions lingering since LOG:01, plus more questions taking us into LOG:04.

I totally forgot to mention it, but I quit my old job and accepted a freelance position with a comic publisher.
My previous job was way too much stress and eventually ate up all of my free time, to the point where literally every waking hour was spent either at work, commuting, or preparing for the next day/week of work. Until I quit that job, two weeks ago, I hadn't even had time to work on The Sprawl for three months.
Luckily I maintain a pretty beefy page buffer. O...

And that wraps up April's pages! Again, I should have some more updates later this month, so look forward to that and I'll be back with more pages for you in May!

I'm really looking forward to a future where instead of televisions we have floating virtual/holographic displays we can resize and reposition how we like.

It's April 1st, but I'm going to give you all a reprieve from the usual April 1st shenanigans.
Here's April's pages for you. I'm still adjusting to the new job but as things settle down I should have more time to post extras. So hopefully I'll have an update on that in the next week or two.
I'm also going to resume work on the ebooks. Tentative release date for the LOG:02 ebook is the end of this month, but I'll keep you all updated with my progress on that.

Ok, bad news first. It's looking less likely that I'll be able to hit the con circuit this year as I'd planned.
The good news is that I plan to transition from my current full-time employment to more part time/freelance work, freeing up more time for me to work on the comic. Which will mean boosted comic output, more streams, and commissions/patron rewards. So look forward to an announcement about that in the next couple of months.
In the meantime, here's March's comic upda...

Hey everyone,
I was hoping to have more to post this week, being a week off from my day job and all, however a couple of days ago my desktop bit the dust and I'm still putting things back together.
I have a temporary hard drive I'm borrowing until I get the real replacement on Monday, so I'm not going to get much use out of it until then, when I'll already be back to work.
So this will probably push back my plans for the second ebook until my next week off of work...
