The Ursa Major Awards have opened up nominations for the 2015 awards for best anthro/furry media. If you're enjoying "The Sprawl", please consider popping over to vote for it in the "Best Graphic Story" category.
It only takes a few seconds to register and cast a vote and you'd be helping to spread the word about the comic. More people reading the comic means more support, more support means I can spend more time working on the comic. More time spent working on the comic means more a...

I'm really happy with how this page turned out, and it kicks off a run of 9 (and counting) pages I think all turned out awesome.
And next month we hit the halfway mark for LOG:03!

Montage page of Liam retracing the night. Also, I wanted an excuse to draw the sexy nurses again and show off the size differences between characters. One of these days I want to do an official character chart for "The Sprawl".

2016 is here and with it your first Sprawl update of the new year.
I've got one more day of my vacation left then I head back home and begin the daily grind of the day job once more, but I put this time to good use, rebuilding my Sprawl page buffer even with all of the family visiting and holiday partying.
In February I have more time off the day job and plan to use it prepping LOG:02 for an ebook and print version.
In he meantime, enjoy these four new...

On January 1st, 2016, The Sprawl begins its third year and I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who enjoy the comic enough to support me in creating it.
It's not just the money, it's knowing that people sincerely enjoy reading The Sprawl. That you enjoy the characters, the world, and the story enough that you want to see where it's all going.
With regards to that, I'm confident you won't be disappointed. I've had the end of the comic planned out since be...

Hey everybody! Head's up, I've changed from a monthly pledge system to a "per-page" pledge system. This means Patreon will tally every page I produce as a payment from you guys, so be sure to adjust your pledges to reflect this!
Since I already posted December's pages last week, there's no charges coming up until the end of the month when the January update drops. That will be four pages, so four times whatever your pledge currently is.
I also changed my Patreon goals to re...

Big changes are coming to this Patreon, too. By the end of the month I'll be switching from a "per month" campaign to a "per page" campaign, as those seem to work better for comic projects.
Also, my living situation has changed dramatically since I created the current goal amounts. I'll still be factoring in Patreon fees, bank fees and taxes, but I'll be changing the goals to reflect my lower cost of living.
The updated goals will also include more specifics on what sor...

Just wanted to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving. Having a bunch of great patrons supporting "The Sprawl" is definitely high on my list of things to be thankful for today.
Also, I wanted to let you all know that I will soon be revamping my Patreon campaign with update goals to reflect my current living situation, as well as a switch from Monthly pledges to "Per Page". That seems to work a lot better for all of the webcomic artists I've talked to.
To all of my supporters her...

So, I'm a goof. Looks like I never posted the November update for you guys.
Since two of the pages have already gone up, I'll just go ahead and post the two remaining pages.

Hey everyone,
Just a quick update to let you know that I've removed all of the Patrons whose pledges were consistently declined. It gave a horribly skewed idea of how much I actually make off of Patreon, which has been less than half of what shown on the site.
I sent a message ahead of the cut, since I suspect most of the declined payments are due to people using PayPal, so hopefully some of those patrons will return with an alternate payment method.
I...

I began preproduction work on "The Sprawl" in October, 2013. So now I've been working on this thing for two full years.
Crazy.
Anyway, here's your October update. 4 new pages.

I hope you all enjoyed LOG:02, now it's time to begin LOG:03. September has five Wednesdays, so this month you get five pages.
Rather than making five posts each with a page attachment I'm going to try the Dropbox approach like I did for the ebook.

The final July update is a title page, so you get to soak in the suspense this month!
To tide you over, here's some end-of-the-chapter "Sprawl" trivia. To date, the final page of LOG:02 is the most resource intensive page I've done. The page took up so much memory it became impossible to edit so I had to cheat a bit.
Panels 1 and 2 were put together in a separate file, flattened, then imported into the file with the full-page panel 3.

There you have it, folks. LOG:02 comes to a close on this page.
Thank you all for supporting me this far and I hope you continue to enjoy the comic. I'm really proud of LOG:03 so far and I can't wait to share it with everyone. In the meantime there's one more update this month.

Fun fact, the city scenes from the original "Macross" movie partially inspire the city scenes in "The Sprawl"

Hi guys,
I am moving to a new apartment. Circumstances what they are I am not sure when exactly the move will fall but it will be sometime between the 31st and the 5th. To avoid being late giving you guys the July update, I'm just going to give it to you right now!

Hey guys, a quick update on the status of the ebook version of the first two chapters.
Right now I'm thinking LOG:01 will be available within the next two weeks. It's taking longer than I expected to put the ebook together and something came up which will prevent me from working on it next week.
Why the delay? I'm taking the opportunity of setting up the ebooks to also set up the print files should I ever be able to do a print run of the book. Why is that slow...

Hey guys,
I'm not sure if any of you were affected, or if you got the same email I did, but apparently Patreon is having some issues with processing June's charges. If you get a message about your payment being declined, don't worry quiet yet. They're apparently fixing the issue and will correct the declined charges.

This page is one of my favourite pages. The colours just work so well.
Anyway, that's July's pages. My day job is dragging longer than I expected, but I should be free of it by the 8th. That's the deadline they gave me for the last obligations before breaking for the summer.

Just a heads-up. I rewrote the text on the DrawHolic Patreon page, and reevaluated the milestone goals I had set. The milestones have been adjusted, taking into consideration that Patreon and Swipe both take their cuts from anything I make each month, and I have to pay taxes on it, too.
The milestones are also somewhat dependent on my living situation. If my cost of living dramatically increases or decreases (due to change in rent, health issues, national currency changing from USD ...
