It's 127 years ago in Castle Morden and Coven's pretty sure this isn't how he looked back when he originally was in this tower. Rastus explains this is how Coven now remembers his past self, since the shock of the "curse" and the amount of time that has past warped his memories.

The man at tha balcony addresses Coven, as he appeared fresh from the 127 year old curse, and bestoys the advice that the only way to remove it is to perform good deeds.

The pull of the black hole is too much and Hacos is sucked in. As he approaches light speed, time itself speeds up and he catches glimpses of what's to come.

The original ending for this lil' storyline was unfortunately fairly mean-spirited and I don't appreciate how it made fun of a character. I'm certain many readers would agree with me, so the full run won't be appearing online. an abridged and modified conclusion will be used in its place.

Deacon sees the arrow, but it's too late. The arrowhead inverts in upon itself to reveal toxic-looking tendrils that immediately latch onto the orb pieces. 

As a reaction occurs, Deacon rushes in to stop it. A huge explosion throws him back, though. It would appear the orb of magicka is now destroyed.

Meanwhile inside the ice coccoon, Coven still sits as ice is jostled off from the blast...

Zeiss confesses that she's been navigating the colony (by mental-link) all this time and was distracting Hacos until he was specifically aimed at the event horizon. 

Realizing Extra-Large-Hacos would be easier to get sucked in, he separates but it's too late for a couple of the hard light clones...

Everyone's witnessing the spectacle that is Giant Hacos, and Zeiss would appear to be defeated...except she reveals she's been guiding the whole colony remotely this entire time.

Zeiss' goal: to aim Hacos directly at the event horizon of the black hole.

Servant, who was recently dismissed by Deacon, is super relieved to find her alive. He vows to protect Wylla and morphs into what he vaguely recalls a bear looking like.

We've begun work on our next Patreon exclusive NSFW series so I figure it's alright to talk a bit about it. It all began when I wanted to give Brandon a break since he's been working very hard on the comics lately.  I figured I'd ask another artist if he'd continue on with the Gavol story I have in mind.

What's Next for 2017?

Happy new year everyone! Myself, Brandon Zuckerman, Sean McNally, Deanna Poppe and everyone else who helps us out with the comics thank you very much for your support in 2016! All the contributions you've made go directly towards better pay for the artists who help with Accursed Dragon and Banished. Now that the bulk of the holidays are behind us, Brandon and I can focus on our comic updatin' schedule again. When we last left off Zeiss managed to get a hardlight generating orb for herself, but Hacos doesn't seem to care. A snare also leaves him unphased as he begins his attack: Multiple Hacos Barrage!

Remember when Scarrow first appeared and was bounty hunting  that werewolf? Then we got to the city of Lavenham and Sian was doctorin' at the university? Sian was for the most part in control of their body, allowing Scarrow some free time to do whatever to release the pressure before taking the reigns again.
