If you're unfamiliar with Funny Farm, it's the comic series I did starting in 1999 which are being reuploaded presently. Here we see material from 2003...which is right in the middle of a story, so it'd be understandable if you read it and feel a bit lost.

Rak's nausea while examining the Mammazon tanks seems awfully suspicious. We know he doesn't really like observing them in general, but this appears a bit extreme. Maybe there's something to it?

Wylla feels like she's in a bit of an awkward position. It looks like Coven n' gang are celebrating and Wylla's hesitant to spoil it with bad news. Puppet Wizard and Vilhelm Figgins rattle off a list of issues that need to be addressed (Sansregret, Allone, Shadow of the Sun) but Coven interrupts to happily greet his friend.
It's when Coven keeps insisting that Wylla steps out to meet everyone that Wizard shouts out "She can't! She can't feel her legs!".

Thanks are given and jokes are shared as everyone thinks their adventure has come to a close. Loud, excited honking interrupts things though as Wizard's carriage pulls up abruptly in front of the adventurers.
Looks like Wylla's arrived to fill everyone in on the next threat...and on the way they acquired an angry horn...

Some questions are about to be addressed in the first panel, such as:
- Why did Deacon take Paul and Shane?
- Why was Shane with the golem while Paul walked away free?
The answers are they were meant to be bait to lure the golem (and its orb of magicka piece) out. When it became apparent that wasn't working (Florina/golem instead protected Shane), Paul was sent away in the hopes to get Coven & company to go in and ferret out the golem.
In a way it worked....

Apologies for being a bit behind with the comics! The last convention really was a time consuming one. I'm back on track, however.
Here the gang relaxes in the forest as Florina recounts what she can piece together happened to her.
She remembers being defeated in battle and regaining some of her mind when the orb of magicka piece found its way to her. As you can see it's still affixed to her forehead...

It turns out if you walk further into the cabin it eventually leads out the invisible portal inbetween the two statues of the Edge of Sanctuary. Paul notes this is probably how they never found the golem during the hunts.
Shane shushes him, as through the portal emerges the rest of the group, including Florina in what appears to be her human form.
I say "appears" because the magic of the necklace is what's doing that. More explanation about that the follow page...

Coven is about to go full ice dragon on the golem, but Rapier intervenes. He pleads with the golem at first begging for it to remember him. How the soul in the golem reached out to his thoughts and called for help. Rapier asks if the golem remembers Blagden and there appears to be some recognition.
Rapier then asks why does the golem have it out for Coven. A question the dragon doesn't know, but speculates it's the dragon arm Deacon used.

We're doing something a little different with the AD pages. I'm working with someone on doing the flats (base colors) now before sending them for coloring. It'll help streamline the process further so come the (hopeful) day we reach the $400 I can follow through on my twice-a-week promise. ;D

Here we see the conclusion of the "flashbacks" to the scientist story and the end of her planet. Her and the visitor have only one chance for survival and that's the gate which was originally used. As the world comes crumbling down around them, they take an extreme risk. While the gate is functional, inorganic material teleportation is problematic.
Using it could result in...complications, or death.

It's a happy reunion between Paul and Shane. Despite what he's been through, Shane still dotes on his partner. Paul insists they're leaving, but Blagden is not satisfied. He didn't come all this way to find an empty chair in an abandoned cabin. He wants answers as to who built this cabin. Who was it that kept Shane here.

A lil' Strix robot! This bot doesn't like using biological handicaps such as names or gender. It has a title and that's all and gets very irritated when asked for anything else.
Like other robots, it took on a new job and nothing pleased it more than being in a security position.
That said it can't and won't let anyone without authority into Zeiss' fortress.
Gavol has a way of handling raw recruits however...
