I only had a vague idea of who Daken was. I only realized halfway through the coloring that his character was gay... but this is a parody, Iceman will also get with Jubilee later. Everyone is bicurious at the minimum. But it's true, I should maybe include some gay content one of these days.

Good morning my beautiful people.

Pretty happy with the production last week and I am ready to get back to work, although three weeks on the same project is a long time for me and I estimate at least another 5 weeks so I might change the subject later this week for a change of pace... We'll see.

I was halfway through the coloring when I realised I had fucked up and drew Karma's mechanical leg on the wrong leg. I though about leaving it that way but ended up flipping this group. Let's hope it won't come back to bite me in the ass later :P

Weekly Update ( the real one :P )

Good morning my beautiful people.

I woke up at midnight this morning, so that day is going to pass very fast for me :P

I actually managed to do my taxes first thing this morning and am now working on the pool party. Took the weekend to decide the whos, cut my layout in seven zones and than in 31 individual packages, all representing 1 or 2 individual pictures that I need to draw. I prepared all 31 PSD files with the layout, references, poses and visuals for every character, and am...

Weekly Update

LOL. Yes, I know I'm a bit early for this but I couldn't sleep last night, so, I spent the night working on my layout and I have something I like. It's super busy but easily readable. At last count I had a total of 112 characters, although there's a bunch that are barely showing. Some might be taken off... Or, I might add more if some spaces feel too empty in the final piece. We'll see... One thing for sure, where in for the long run :P

X-Mansion Colored

I'm happy to say I am one day early on completing the background of our pool party. Tomorrow, I'll start working on who does what where.

I've worked on a canvas just around 4x my usual format. ( My computer didn't appreciate it too much :P )

The plan is to be able to zoom in on the action that take place in the background.

My computer chair broke on Wednesday. The welding of the main shaft broke, and the chair lost all it's stability. Hope you called your mother this weekend :P  I HATE mother's day as a concept. But always take the day to spend it with her. Anita is one of the most underrated beauty from the Disney verse. She's gorgeous and that librarian next door vibe is a major asset. I'd feel for her in a heartbeat. I tried here, but I don't think I did her justice. I'll have to revisit her.
