It’s been a bit more than a week now since I started to work on this. I really like where this is going, but I’m starting to feel the boredom creeping in. So I think I’ll work on an unrelated picture to cap up the week and we’ll be back on this on Monday.

1rst, I’m gonna change the way I release these inserts.
No more low rez / high rez. Everyone is going to get the bigger resolution until the whole piece is completed. This will save me some time as well as prevent me from flooding your emails with new notices.
Once the piece is complete, then I’ll release the final version as usual. So enjoy your bigger than average picture for a while :)

I FINALLY completed the line work for the “Girls of Sci-fi” pic. 33 beautiful women playing together. Took a bit more time than I was planning, but I’m really happy with the result, likeness and level of details. There’s one character in there I’m a little less happy with, and I’ll probably try and fix that before starting on the colors, but we’ll see. I lost another friend last Sunday… I learned it just after posting the last weekly update. I think it’s the 5th persons I lose in the last 18 months... That feels like a lot. To be honest, we weren’t close anymore. We haven’t hanged out in about 10 years. Life got in the way and we ended up in different circles. Last Sunday, we lost Edward Asner, the voice of Hudson. So I decided to center a piece on him. I rarely gave him the center stage.
I understand, someone could see it as disrespectful of myself to draw a xxx pic as a sendoff piece to a beloved actor. Please understand that this is me showing my love of his work. Using my own art form to do so. I have nothing but respect for his work as an actor. He will be missed.

I’m back.
My friend’s recoveries are nothing less than miraculous, especially her’s. I was expecting to find her in pain and scared for life, but although there will be scars they should be minimal. She is healing incredibly well.

I stumbled onto this coupling almost by accident when I was working on the where’s Waldo pic long ago. I needed to fill the thing with characters. I though that drawing Varvatos looking at Aja would be funny, I ended up pairing her with Claire just because, and I had no idea that this pairing would turn me on so much… Took me a while, but I’ve finally properly revisited it
