Netflix, via Kevin Smith ( Showrunner of the series) just released a bunch pictures for the new MOTU series. It is EXACTLY what I was hoping for, a modern look strait out of the original series.

I'm pushing to get back on a daylight schedule, which mean that I'm gonna lose a day. Usually, I try to plan these things, so that the missing day end up on the weekend, but it just happened this time round and I woked up right after midnight very early this morning. So... When this was suggested to me, I realised 3 things:
1- I was amassed that I had never stumbled onto a pic illustrating something so evident for these characters before.
2- I was extremely jealous not to having thaught about it by myself.
3- I needed it in my life ASAP.

Hey guys, how are you doing?
I'm doing great today. Slept only 2 hours last night (my schedule is a mess, and I'll probably need a nap this afternoon :P) but somehow I feel fully rested and I'm currently working on the light and shading on page 17. It is looking great, and I can't wait to release it later today.

I'm back baby!
Finally back as my old self after a real long and exhausted week.
That Vaccine is not to be taken lightly. I have had a bunch in my life ( traveling as well as to be able to work as an orderly) and never got one affecting me us much. I got the H1N1 vaccine earlier last year and is was a breeze, so I wasn't expecting to be kicked on my ass for about a week.
Still, it is important and way better that to get the real thing.

Got vaccinated Sunday night. I got lucky, I only got a slight discomfort in the belly. But I got exhausted. I can't remember being that tired in my life, seriously. I couldn't stay up, couldn't worked, or even play games. I slept and watch TV.
I'm starting to feel better. Today is the first time I can think about working, but I think I'll take the rest of the week of and try to recharge a bit.

Yeah, you read that right. I’m doing my weekly update on a Friday night.
This week was a bit disastrous in term of work.
1st, life got in the way. And while I am more than happy to go with my natural rhythm and be on a night shift for a little while, the rest of the world seems determined to wake me up :P
Also, the commission took me a lot longer than expected, not that it was so complicated, but I didn’t know anything about that show, so I needed a lot of visual research...

I feel pretty great actually.
I've been fasting a little, and it's doing me wonders. Although, with my diabetes, I gotta pay attention to everything. So far, both my Glucose level as well as my Ketones are perfectly on target.
My schedule is a bit weird lately, I'm on a night shift, but that is ok. Work as been going great, so I won't be fighting it this time around. So tired of fighting against myself :P

Yoko Tsuno is one of the earlyest female lead in comics. There was a few before her, but she basically showed the whole European comic insdutry that there was a market for such titles. And her creator, Roger Leloup, is still going strong after 50 years. The last issue came out in 2019. It might have taken me a little while to really get into this franchise "for girls" but Khany and her blue skin quickly field some of my teenages dreams.
