How are you doing my beautiful people?.

I had a GREAT, LONG, weekend that felt amazing. I basically played Horizon for 4 days. So I don't have much to talk about this week :P

Insomnia last night, but nothing a coffee won't fix. And I'm ready to go back to work this morning.

Here's the plan: 

I have the script for Tracy's comic ready. We are going "Marvel Method" for that one. This will be a first for us ^^ So, I plan to take the next 2 or 3 d...

I delivered the last commission of the current list yesterday ^^

As planed, I'm taking the rest of the week off. Not much of a vacation, but a 4 days weekend playing Horizon will have to do :P

I'll be back on Monday to start working on Tracy Scop's comic. We've already discussed the script; it's a fun one.

Good morning my beautiful people.
How are you doing?

I'm feeling great!

I'm still giddy after the last "Elimination Chamber".

I'm not going to turn this page a WWE page, but DAMN! That was a fun one. So intence, at one point, I had to pause the PLE and take my blood sugar because I was feeling weird, only to realize I had anxieties about the fight that was about to start (KO vs Samy). I was THAT invested in it.

I'm still hard at work on the commission. I am way behind schedule... This is entirely my fault. The plan on Monday was a short comic page of 4 cells. I ended up with a 9 cells page, which is crazy ( I rarely do more than 5 or 6 cells by pages ). The rough sketch alone took me two days. And I should complete the linework tomorrow.

The next time I say to someone that I'll keep the details to a minimum, please remind me that I am not good at it...

Had a good week.

Things are a bit erratic around here at the moment. We received so much snow last week, we are still snowed in. Walking in my neighborhood is a bit on the dangerous side at the moment since every time I need to go buy something, I need to share the roads with a lot of cars. And the roads are also a lot smaller than usual. So I try to stay home as much as possible and hope that they'll get to my neighborhood ...

Here's the lates commission.

This one went by swimmingly. And despite my initial reluctance to do another Star Wars picture, I think the result is fantastic. The idea of going with the Salracc pit is probably what saved it for me. It is something I never drew before and allowed me to go with a low angle POV which is another thing that I don't do a lot.

My only gripe would be the dune in the background. It was meant to be the edge of the "pit", but it never felt like it, so I ended...

Weekly Update

How are you doing my beautiful people.
I feel better than last week. Made sure to sleep longer the last few days. So far so good.

I did gained a bunch of weight though, and I'm not happy about that.

I only have myself to blame to be honest. It's February, always the coldest month of the year. So I tend to stay indoors these days. Less walking, no dancing. Basically no exercise, which left a lot more time for me to eat stuff I shouldn't :P

The gain weight is not catastroph...

Quick Update

Still alive ^^

But the commission is taking more time than expected. Mostly because, I gave the client more than they asked for, but also because I am having sleeping issues, I am exhausted and I lost a day of production this week because of it.

I could probably complete it tonight, after a LONG day, but I have a thing planed later tonight so, I'll complete it over the weekend and will probably release it sometime before Monday.

I just wanted to keep you all in the loop.

I'm fine. Took the whole weekend off, but somehow feel as if I had been working. I do not feel the usual refreshed way I do after a day off. And I have no idea why.

I did use that time to do some house cleaning, but nothing that should make my brain feel still as full as if I had been working all weekend.

Here's the first commission of the week.

I am quite happy with this one, both with the result as with my rhythms. Monday was a bit hard for me. Working on both sketches, lots of backs and forth with the commissioners. I wasn't sure I'd manage to do both pics this week. But once finally nailed both sketch, things went a lot faster and I'm fairly confident that the second one should be completed tomorrow ( or over the weekend at the latest).

I'm pretty happy with my week at the moment.

I managed to draw the biggest batch of new elements I have done so far. And I don't count those I colored on Monday. Needless to say that those are only a small sample of it, and I still have a lot of coloring to do.

Sadly, I'm not as close to the finish line as I thought. We are pretty far un the back of the picture, making the element much smaller, so I need more of them to fill the same space. But it's coming along quite nicely any...

Hello my beautiful people! I hope you are all doing all right.

I am fine. I had the first full day off since my return from the holidays. And since I've been sick during the holidays, It felt like months ago :P I needed that! Tiredness was one of the reasons last week's commission took so long. Friday night, I was utterly beaten. And because of it, I made a mistake somewhere. I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong. This took FOR EVER!!!

Mostly because I'm terrible at saving time. I drew in too much detail, copy pasted them here and there, fully colored them individually only to have them blurry or hidden in the final picture :P as an example, All those shelves are completely individual layers, fully rendered, and while the lines where copy pasted, the colors where all original and uniques.

Self-preservation? Never heard of it.

I had a long week, but I'm happy with the results.

Heath wise, my throat infection is behind me. Insomnia slowed me down a bit. But things should get back on track on that part. I'm always hesitant about using sleeping aids. My body react unevenly when it comes to narcotics. Sometime sleeping aids don't do a thing, sometime they knock me out for two days :P... but I bought melatonin, and I'll use it for a few days if my bod...
