This is an old piece I did back in 2012. One of my supporter asked for a Dr Who pic and I told him I did a few back in the Mat Smith era and directed him to the archives… turns out, I only did one, and it was missing. I went back to my backup hard drive, and it was again missing… this pic and the PSD file has disappeared from both my backup system ( which probably just mean that I never put it in to begin with :P )

I’m pretty good. I’m hard at work putting my life back in order. I’ve been cleaning the apartment, and I still have a lot of work to do on that part :P The last few months, between covid and my father, I was putting my energies in surviving these hard times and was pretty neglected when it came to cleaning ( all that is in insight. I’m not sure I ever told you guys, but I don’t like drawing (censored). It is INSENLY boring stuff :P Hence why I almost never draw bukkakes. That said, when I read Ferawyn’s suggestion, I almost killed myself for not having thought of it beforehand, and at the same time, I seriously doubt that I could pull it off in any satisfactory ways…. 2 reasons for me to bite the bullet.

Weekly Update

How are you doing my beautiful people?
I’m doing pretty good. My schedule is all out of whack, but I’m pushing to flip it. I woke up at 11pm tonight, so I guess Saturday didn’t exist this week :P

I don’t have anything to say about last week. Thursday, the stuff I had to do for the succession was cancelled last minute, so I’ll probably do that tomorrow ( Monday ) as for the rest of the week, I’m planning to get back to the Star Wars comic. My mojo is back and I am ready to...

As promised, here’s the cover for my latest collaboration with the fantastic Tracy Scops.

Guys, I am EXTREMELY proud of the work I did on that book. The art is some of my best work and I cannot wait to see the final product. And while I am not credited as such I was also part of the writhing team here, which make me doubly exited to give that to you.

This should be released on November 15.

Weekly Update

How are you doing you beautiful people?
I’m getting better ^^ emotionally speaking, I’m pretty zen.

I did a bit of online social interactions with family and friends, had some fun with conspiracy theory, and watched a shit load of prime TV. My dad is never far from my though, but I am surprised by how little it weight on my mind. As comparison, I lost my little brother about 20 years ago ( yeah, I’m old ) and got depressed for WEEKS. Of course his death was a shit load more sud...

Quick Update

Hey guys ^^

just a quick world to reassure you. Emotionally I feel fine. I still feel a lot more  relief than sadness.

But when it come to work, every time I sit in front of my computer to work, I get instantly sleepy, which I take as a sign that I still need to rest and take care of myself a little bit. I also have next to zero imagination at the moment. So I’ll keep resting for a few days and aim to come back next week.

Although, I might try to work on a pinup, sinc...

So… my dad died. 

Sorry to start with such a downer but that was my week for you. He died peacefully in an artificial sleep induce by an amazing medical team that did everything they could to make his last days as comfortable as possible. I will be forever grateful for their work. I will miss him, but I am not sad at the moment. Mostly I am relieved that his suffering is finally over. I do not doubt that sadness will come in its time,  I am ready to feel his lost, and I know...

Finished this one last Monday, but I had already released the DC one so I sat on it for a few days.

Since at the moment I’m almost 24h/day at the palliative center with my father, might as well release it now.

This was a fun one. The last one was a bit too shiny for my taste, so I tried to reduce the saturation and play with brushes a little ( I really need to explore that aspect of it a lot more.) it’s not perfect, but just like the last one, I did what I was aiming to do... ...

I always liked artist like Oni, and their soft color work. So smooth, but I never really managed to nail the technique. Thanks to my work with Tracy Scoops, last night, I got access to the PSD file of a real colorist, and it finally clicked, and I just HAD TO practice. It’s all about the flats. If you have a good clean flat file, things get so much easier.

I’m not ready to switch to that technique for everything. But I will have more practices using it since I’d REALLY want to get...
