Some process panels from Ep 89! UWU I really hope you guys like this ep, it was originally 120 panels but it got cut to around 90 panels when I realized I was in way over my head! As much as I love chaos and adding falling rocks throughout these panels it can get a bit overwhelming XD.

Another panel process from this week's Episode 88! As you can see, one of the steps in my process now involves sending and getting things back from a my colorist! I really debated weather Nouren should carry her over his shoulder (like a sack of potatoes) or bridal style (of course my editor chose the second option). I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!

I really love seeing these process images (I hope you guys do as well) but here are the steps to the panels I posted last week!
For some reason, the blue background makes things look EXTREMELY dark on my computer so sometimes It's hard to make sure the details on darker clothing (Aaron especially) are even the correct color since it's all so dark.
Still I'm pretty hopeful the scenery will change a bit with all of the ....THINGS that will happen in these next few eps! ...

OOhf you bet I chose the steamiest panel for this! These night scenes can be super fun but also difficult to color due to the blue lighting effect I try to give it. Sometimes the blue and yellow tones of their skin can make the image look more green so I try to stick with purple night tones that blend easier with their skin ! :D

Do you ever find yourself being surprised when things actually turn out the way you want them to? XD I do (all the time). The 2nd panel with Raizo's falcon in particular was something I envisioned but did not think would turn out very well since arial shots tend to be quite difficult for me.

Gotta say, I really love rendering all the pretty blue lights as well as the dragon! Looking at that sketch makes me thing the dragon's spine is broken XD. The 3rd step from the left is how the file was returned to me by my colorist and the final version (right) is my edits and renders.
Also, I spent a ton of time pondering what ICE sounds like this episode and finally settled on "CRACK". Still I think KKRR-ACK oR FRRR-ACK could have worked just as well! Let me know what you guys ...

Oh boy, look at the difference! Here is a quick process image for 3 panels in ep 70. Personally there are times where the sketches tend to look a lot more lively than the finished panels but at the same time, finished panels can look really nice and refined as well! Have any of you guys encountered issues where the sketch is more flashy than the lineart???
