WELP! Hey guys, here are the panels from EP. 19 in Kyro's flashback! I had to KILL the color in order to give it more of that flashback scene (unfortunately) but I wanted to show you guys how the original looked!

Note: I'm still deliberating on which way the last panel should be posted in the final update. I've seen these odd large side panels in some WTs occasionally but I've never personally been a fan. Proofreader yelled that I had no idea how to do world-building, so here's some world-building! XD
This map is going to likely show up as part of a bonus update next month (I really wanted to have it done this month) along with a few other bits of world-info. Guys, don't even get me started on the geography and the subduction plates research I did in order to form those mountains! I'm playing around with some emblem ideas for the next bonus update and let me just say how much I STRUGGLE with working on these kinds of things! I don't know if I like it? hate it? In fact, some of these are giving me a strong "Chinese Restaurant" vibe. huhu
Let me know what you guys think! I'm leaning somewhere towards the bottom left image but it won't surprise me if none of these even make it into the update.

Sometimes when you're drawing 80+ panels you start cutting corners subconsciously! Hur Hur no one actually pointed this one out but I find it funny that I would miss this considering my RANT on horse tack a couple of weeks ago!
I hope you guys enjoyed Ep.17 for the background info (and emotional roller coaster). I think the reaction it got is around 60/40 in terms of Clove/Nouren hate lol. I'm glad people are passionate about taking sides, I just hope they understand where the other side...

Another one of my silly sketch dumps where I design random things for the comic! This time I tried figuring out a consistent way of drawing the saddles/bridles these guys wear. It's HEAVILY influenced by Chinese imperial horse tack (it had lots of colorful tassels from what I can see) and the saddle is mostly an English style saddle. The bridle is basically rope (not leather) and is missing a nosepiece).
