Coming soon to the shop!
They're a bit too large for most animals to be pet tags, but here are Fable's companions (Dirac and Ada) modeling them anyway.
Zib's had some work done on his sheet of late, plus some new (old) clothes.
Also, a character who hasn't had a proper introduction yet, but we aim to fix that!
Looking forward to getting all of the new character design work packaged up for sharing. There's so much of it, hehe.

Hey everyone! With an eye toward producing extra animation between planned episodes, I'm looking at adding a $10 tier here.
The hypothetical tier would include everything already included in the $2 and $5 tiers, but...what else? I've never offered a $10 tier before, and so I'm curious what sorts of pledge rewards you'd be most interested in.

It's easy to take for granted that everyone is familiar with the basic body language of cats, how their tails move, how mobile their ears are. But not everyone on the crew has actually spent that much time around cats. So, we worked up a guide for the animators.
Some of it's stuff that's stylistically specific to Lackadaisy too, like adjusting ears for hats. I thought some of you might find it interesting!

Viktor's character design from the pilot has been refurbished and expanded upon.
We were running into some issues with his proportions and with his facial features drifting and appearing somewhat inconsistent in animation. There are a lot of aspects of his design that differ from the way the other characters are structured. He has more defined musculature and more solid bone structure. It makes him trickier - or characteristically obstinate - to work with relative to the other, s...

One thing I'm undecided on is whether to give into Zib's nicotine habit or not. Cigarette or no cigarette? It's deeply silly, but is it the right kind of silly or nah?
...I don't think he's in the holiday spirit, but I hope you are all enjoying the season nevertheless!

This was originally intended to be an embroidery design for a jacket. Our plans veered off in other directions this year, but we'll likely revisit this one in some form in the new year.

The band (Mozzie, Sy, Ben, and J.J.) already had animation designs from the pilot, which you can see at the top here, but they were pretty far in the background in that context.
We have a couple of things in the pipeline that feature them much more prominently, so we decided to do some sprucing up. That meant trying to pour some more character into their appearances and trying to differentiate their shapes so they look much more immediately distinct from each other.....and also settling o...
Shot progress, that is. Not so much progress for Zib.
This is still a WIP, but part of another vignette we'll share later this month.
