V0.7 Progress - 21.09.

Hi,

I am working on V0.7 content and found, that all the changes planned _and_ the first ending will not be doable until freeze date 25.09. and VIP release 1.10.

Nevertheless, I want to stick with the planned release dates and focus on the first ending, the complete game mechanics and some minor scenes & updates for the V0.7 release.

Content shifted to V0.8: (a) Some incrementally improvement of scenes & animations that are already in the game and (b) one major quest...

V0.7 Development - Update

Hi,

I finished the map assembly mini game today. Added a match-upgrade logic to the clutter to eventually end in treasure tiles with high level items( diamond ring, ebony, gold bar).

Decided against using action points and limited moves for the game as it destroyed the fun. The action scrolls are now optional to "refill" the clutter for more merges if that's the side goal.

Main goal of the mini game is to assemble the castle map(s) for Nyx (see 2nd screenshot).

V0.7 Test Render

Hi,

I made the Castle Hallway for the final mission today. The room was made in blender and then imported into DAZ.

Here's a test render. Lighting, camera angle etc. will probably change for the final scenes.

Screenshot V0.7 - Minigame

Hi,

just implemented the probably last minigame for the game.

Prior to sending Nyx to the infiltration mission of the Keep, you need to supply her with a map for the mission with Gwynn's help.

Mechanics is done, maybe I still need to brighten up the tiles and think about some rewards for the minigame (beyond enabling the mission). Maybe some match 4 logic for merging the clutter into treasure chests...

Dev Log V0.7 - 16.09.

Hi,

attached you can find the feature list for V0.7. There were quite a few suggestions after the last release, so it has grown a bit.

I want to have at least one ending in V0.7, including the quest(s) that lead up to it, so I might have to down-prio some non ending relevant quest / art update / QoL feature if time isn't enough.

95% of the new game mechanics are done, including the completely migrated quests with the new quest system (which was effort-wise by far the biggest...

Concept Art & Update Info V0.6 Final

Hi,

two major issues (see patch note in Early Access Release Notes Post) so far were incoming from early access testing of V0.6a.

One is a fatal freeze in the board came pathfinding routines and the other a crash related to Nyx dungeon missions.

Both have been fixed today. I will be done with the final testing of V0.6b the next two days and can push the official Patreon release forward to 13th.

Result of VIP Poll on Animation Styles / Content

Hi,

thanks for your participation in the animation style poll!

  • 50% want more larger animations (like hallway reward)

Development Progress V0.7 (SFW)

while waiting for the feedback to Early Access Release V0.6, I am working on a revised quest system for V0.7+.

The old quest system was imho my biggest design flaw in this game. It caused almost all the logic/quest progression bugs you may have seen and was responsible for a lot of help requests.

Hi,

using the feedback from the VIP Early Access phase currently running I have collected the items that will be fixed for the V0.6. final release.

  • No major issues found, but a bunch of smaller stuff, that requires test recursion.

The VIP Poll "Mini games Yes/No" is completed.

  • 20% want mini games for progress mechanics
