Outclassed 2 - Page 26 (WIP & PSD)

I'm attaching two WIP drafts here because I did an initial attempt at this page that I wasn't satisfied with. I got some pointers from Uniparasite for improving the page layout (which I'm deliberately forcing myself to be more experimental about), moved some stuff around, did some redraws, and I think the final version of the page is a lot more dynamic. I try not to ALWAYS go for 3/4 view angles but in this case it does look a lot better than the front facing one. It's never a bad idea to get...

Yeah it wouldn't be a comic by me if this didn't happen at least once.

June 2025 WIP and sketch dump

Now that the drawpoll post is up most of my work for the month is done (other than the usual Saturday strip of course) so, fuck it let's do another post for "other stuff I did" which this month includes a lot of birthday stuff for friends... and I guess my own as well since may's post wasn't even halfway through the month.

Let's start with that, the first post is a little birthday post for myself, ripping on an old simpsons joke. My husband asked "why did you give me baddie latina hips"...

Drawpoll reward - Father's day special

The overwhelming victor of this month's drawpoll was Miles' dad- and I am happy to oblige.

Following the other characters' naming scheme I figure he could be called Xavier, since considering Miles is a millennial that would make this guy a gen X-er. Which raises the point that... yeah, so would Boomer technically, they're roughly the same age. I think Boomer earns his namesake by being a bit...

One thing this page made me consider is mayyyybe doing an extensive edit when the comic is finished to change their hands a little bit because at this point the sheer luck these fuckers have been having is a statistical impossibility... There are a lot of stipulations to follow, such as:

>Alfonso has to have a strong enough hand that he doesn't want to change it
>stronge enough to scares Horacio away from even joining the first round of betting
>not too strong for Suarez ...

Drawpoll - Father's Day special

I of course couldn't let the opportunity for a Father's day pic go by- but what's stopping me from doing another one? I figured a fun idea for this month's drawpoll was to show what the fathers of some of my characters are like.

Now, we've already seen Joe's dad in a previous strip, plus he's not exactly someone you...

Happy father's day!

I've done cutesy father's day stuff with Boomer's kid in previous years so it's time to do something horny with his bf instead.

Miles got a little too into the roleplay it seems...

One thing I mentioned in previous WIP posts and is more evident now, is that I have been covering all but the corners of king, queen and jack cards when revealing hands until now, for the obvious reason that drawing a couple of hearts on a blank rectangle is a lot easier than the intricate patterns you see in the French standard deck for face cards. I figured this was a good moment to break that rule in terms of composition since the card forms a clear point of interest in the page, being a s...

Speed dating at Blacktusk Inn - Poll 5

The bartender rung the bell at the end of part 5, signaling the conclusion of Taro's speed date with Charlie. The bartender will now pull colored marbles out of the bag to determine the next pairings, and our POV character will date one of the three other bachelors. Surely, this is up to random chance... or is it? Let's give the hand of fate another nudge.

For a refresher on the other partici...

Speed dating at Blacktusk Inn - Part 5

You ponder your response for a few seconds, but can’t resist Charlie’s puppy eyes. For someone that hasn’t been half hyena for very long, he shows an impressive mastery over the look.

That sounds like a great time, Charlie. I would not be opposed to maintaining our suppositional trysts purely physical ones.

He responds with a big smile. “I don’t know what half those words mean, Taro, but happy to hear!

Now more assured of himself, Charlie...

I made the controversial decision to give Alfonso a big dick as opposed to big balls which more than one person has asked me to do. I'm sorry fellas, he's a raccoon, not a tanuki. I generally like to make dicks average sized so when someone's well endowed it stands out.

Outclassed 2 - Page 22 (WIP & PSD)

I got a bit of help with the main pose here from chonk experts Uniparasite and Mayku to get it just right, I'm trying to look up my original draft before they redlined it and can't find it, but while the belly looked good, the balance was way off (the leg he's standing on is now closer to the center). I still fixed some stuff here and there in the lineart, like Horacio's left shoulder.

I am, again, looking for different ways to show cards being revealed, since Suarez is out of this hand...

Drawpoll reward - Joe's dating app misadventure

So, public sex won the poll by a landslide, which is thankfully a kink that leaves a lot of room for creativity. And I got a little carried away with it...

The purpose of this piece was to give Joe a little bit of character development, in the sense that even though he's more confident and landing dates, he's still very desperate and saying yes to every moderately attractive guy that looks his ...

At this point I struggled a bit to find new angles to show the cards being shuffled and dealt. I went with an overhead view here, which also lets me skip the characters placing down the chips for the ante (Horacio dealing Walter is not explicitly shown since he just promised he would on the last panel of the last page).

A little concern I had with the order of events here is that since Suarez dropped out of this hand, the gap between hands where he's holding Walter might be a little wid...

Drawpoll - Joe's dating app misadventure

While Joe has had a significant self-confidence boost in recent developments (and I have more elaborate plans for him) I think these polls are good to check in on him here and there, and I do want to show that there are going to be some small bumps along the way. Maybe you're confident enough to be yourself, but still desperate enough to say yes to anyone that looks your way.

While I have more elaborate plans for Joe, I feel like these polls are a good fit to check up on him he...

Speed dating at Blacktusk Inn - Poll 4 (part 2)

I was going to post the second part of the CYOA poll last week but I got caught up working on the next batch of comic pages and forgot, but we still have plenty of time left for this (and the second drawpoll of course).

Looks like option 1 won by a landslide in the previous poll. So Taro is alright with just hooking up. What followup question would he have for Charlie?

Outclassed 2 - Page 20 (WIP & PSD)

Since I was on page 20, my working folder had piled up about two dozen thumbnails for this project and I noticed the colors were a little repetitive (since most of the comic is set within the same roughly 6 square meter chunk of a living room) so I figured I could render Walter's inner thoughts in a more vibrant palette to shake it up a little.

Something I didn't think about until I got to the coloring was that Suarez -> Horacio -> Alfonso is the most sensible arrangement for this...

May 2025 WIP and sketch dump

Something you guys might have noticed is that I've been doing a lot more unscheduled drawings lately on top of the comics and drawpolls to deliver my monthly promises to patrons. This is due to, first of all, all your generous support that allows me to allocate more time to doing drawing practice, and second due to feeling a lot more productive and creative after a stressful move. I've been posting these drawings without an attached WIP post with the PSD files and initial sketches because I d...

Horacio's body hair continues to be a pain in the ass (but a pleasurable one, as many can be). I find it kind of funny how a lot of people reacted to seeing what he looks like with his shirt off, because it's not like I haven't shown it a couple times in assorted pin-ups and a reference sheet for the Joe therapy arc strips. I might show a bit of Horacio's backstory at some point but I like hinting at it through the character design and little bits of dialogue like this one.

I struggled ...

Speed dating at Blacktusk Inn - Poll 4 (part 1)

Following part 4, our POV character (Taro) gets asked by Charlie whether he's ok with just fooling around and helping him experiment. Would he be? I'll do another poll in a week with a followup question for Charlie depending on the most voted answer.

Speed dating at Blacktusk Inn - Part 4

You reply to Charlie’s question.

“Thank you for asking, Charlie. I’m called Taro, and I’m a librarian.”

Charlie looks surprised. “Oh. I wasn’t expecting that.” He scratches the back of his ears. “You’re not one of those boring librarians with a stick up your ass, are you? I’ve only been to a library a couple times to fetch tomes for my master, and I wasn’t a fan.”

“It is, unfortunately, an important job and a big responsibility”, you reply. “B...
