May 16th, 2017 Update

I feel like my efforts at doing sketches/doodles more often are really paying off. This was about a full day's worth of work, and it's a lot more finished and better looking than anything I could do in the past in that amount of time. I'm not sure what (or if) I'm doing for a poll next month, but if I do one it's possible that inking, adding a bg, etc to this will be one of the poll options.

May 15th, 2017 Update

A doodle I've been picking at all week. Some more Seff and Ashley when they're older, though with Ashley in a sort of werewolf-ish form. My first try at this sort of werewolfish anatomy, still not entirely right. But I'm decently happy with it.

May 12th, 2017 Update

Testing colors and things. A couple things I forgot to do on the BG (like the hinges for the door), but once I take care of those I think coloring and shading will all go quite quickly.

Ended up picking up a small side project that the commissioner wanted kept absolutely secret. Probably be done with it tomorrow, but I don't think I want to do any more of them. Ever. Working without streaming is booorriiiiing.

May 9th, 2017 Update

Share a doodle from last week, some Camp Pines Seff and Ashley, in the future when they've settled down together and had some pups. I've had in mind for a while that these two would get together and have some kids, and I wanted to experiment with some designs for them. Also good to push myself, I've never done a pic with 5 characters in the foreground before.

May 8th, 2017 Update

Realized I haven't updated in a few days. Been trying to fix my sleep schedule so I've ended my streams the last few days being really tired, and went straight to bed instead of updating. Anyway, this pic is probably ready for color. The BG linework is kinda naff, but I figure I'm probably just going to use it for guidelines and paint over it instead of trying to make it tidy.

May 4th, 2017 Update

Started inking and saw that her upper torso proportions were a bit off, so having to do a fix on that in the middle of things. Second pic I've done of Natani doing the pleasure-lipbite thing, but I think that's kind of just how she rolls. I wanted to do this one with her having a more open-mouthed o-face, but it didn't seem right to me. I think biting her lip makes more sense. Sketch coming along pretty well, no really major roadblocks but still more to finish and a few things I want to tweak. Trying to decide on what to do BG-wise. Probably something in her cabin on the ship, but not sure if she'd be on the bed, or maybe sitting with her back against the door to make sure no one can come in, or something else.

April 27th, 2017 Update

April 23rd, 2017 Update

Managed to finish by the end of the weekend as hoped. Barely. I haven't done a lot of proper shading work lately, and this background was quite different for me. Still, I think the overall result is pretty good. If I was going to do it again I would have sketched/partially lineworked the closest rocks just for some more gradual decrease of sharpness/detail over distance from the viewer.

April 22, 2017 Update

Doodle from a few days back, figured I'd mix things up a little instead of showing more incremental shading/coloring progress on that Raine pic.

I really like the mood, pose, and colors of this pic, but the framing and perspective are a bit iffy. Hopefully I'll find the time to do this pic up properly.

Ink is pretty much done, going to start coloring tomorrow. Should be fairly straightforward, since she's a white wolf, but fair amount of BG work. Ideally, done this weekend. We'll see.

Complete tie this month, 50/50 in both the $1 and $5 polls. I'll most likely draw Raine (cause awoo > a mew), but we'll see. I'll try and crack out a handful of concepts for each and see what looks best.

April 2nd, 2017 Update

I almost sorta made it in time with this one, but I forgot that part of what I have to do is figure out Kian's coloring. He started undergoing a bit of a redesign lately, and we only kinda figured out his face. The rest of his fur patterning was a bunch of ????

Still not super satisfied. Might work on the BG a bunch tomorrow and figure out what I want to do with his fur patterns after I've had another day or two to think about it.

March 30th, 2017 Update

Two character poll options seem a little outside my ability to fit into my schedule, since it looks like this one is probably going down to the wire tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be able to finish the linework tomorrow and get some flat color on the pic, and that's kinda the minimum I feel that I owe you guys, but I would like to do more than that with this pic. March 28th, 2017 Update

I rolled out of bed this morning, had breakfast, and decided to draw a little King Adelaide. She didn't really come out so great, some proportion problems that I didn't want to spend time fixing, plus some other issues.

The thing that makes me happiest with the pic are the doodles on the 'canvas' in the lower right. But my sense of humor is weird.

March 26th, 2017 Update

Another elevated doodle, something cleaned up and colored but neither done at maximum effort. Been a long time since I've drawn fem Mike from TwoKinds, and I've never drawn Evals. Pretty happy with how they look, despite deviating from their official designs in several ways I think I still made them look like the characters they're supposed to.

March 23, 2017 Update

This is about as far as I'm taking this pic, so I'm gonna give you guys an "HD" version of it. I normally work like 3k pixels on the long edge, this one is 1600 square, so I can't give you guys the normal 2k res HD that you normally get. Anyway, hope you enjoy it. March 21, 2017 Update

I try to treat Mondays as a bit of a day off after pushing hard and streaming a lot on weekends, catching up on errands and chores and whatnot. Still, ended up doodling today, and it came together really well. It's my first real threesome pic, and it's not half bad. Looking pretty good for four hours of work, I think my practice is starting to pay off. I'll try and revisit this tomorrow or later this week to get Zen finished up (it's Zen and Natani making a Princess Clovis sandwich).

March 20th, 2017 Update

I've been sketching a fair bit of Clovis and Zen from TwoKinds lately, and it reminded me of how bland Zen and Natani's visual designs really are. As characters, they can be interesting, but visually they're really all of two colors. Natani actually has a couple extra, but with Zen that's pretty literal, the same brown is used on his nose, eyes, and hair, and his fur is entirely monotone.
