At the end of each month, I'll post a progress shot like this of chapter 5. I thought it would be good to see it grow (for me, too) :)
The storyboard of chapter 6 is also basically finished. It's been ... super amazingly fast, I still cannot believe it. Now I have to draw draw draw!

I was just telling a friend today that I have so much to do these days ... and what do I do? I plan new merchandise.
But I learned that when the muse kisses you, you should follow it because when it fades away, you can't bring it back oftentimes.
So here's a little set of Piet+Henry+garden sketches. It would be cool if I managed to at least get the postcards, the print and the sticker done for Dokomi. Notepad goes last (I wouldn't use it though so I might not do it XD).

This stage is one of the most trickiest in my opinion.
One panel can look awesome with all the effects on it. But when applied to a whole scene, it can look overwhelming very easily.
When playing around with layer options and colors, I often find new combinations of which I wouldn't have thought about before. It's a lot of fun, but also sooo difficult to decide on a final version!

It's weird to share pictures of Lukas with you since I had to keep him secret for so long! He has been there almost since the beginning of G&G (even before Levi existed I think).
These are new ones but I might share some old ones of him sometime, too :) (Although I posted most of them in the early days when I didn't think too much about spoilers ...)

The end is coming close. All pages are filled - only rendering is left.

We pretty much passed the $400 mark! Welcome new patrons and thank you so much for pledging! Every dollar really helps to push things forward.
Since the colorist assistant spot has been filled by a storyboarder, the colorist position will change over to the next goal which is set to $700.
Producing 1 volume / year (appr. 120 pages) would be awesome and isn't that impossible anymore with all the help!

Could this be the time where I'm finally able to make my comic pages look like my sketches and be happy with it?
In chapter 4, I already lined directly over the storyboard. But I almost can't look at those pages now ... seeing all the flaws that could've been avoided if I had put in a little more time.

I want to make a small zine/picture book for the two cons I'll be attending this year (Dokomi and CC Stuttgart). I hope I can finish it in time. If not, I'll still make it and print it later.
I chose Anton+friends as theme, but it's hard to find a good connection between random pics.
At first, I wanted to focus on Antons+Raphaels relationship. But that seemed to be too particular. So it will probably be mixed illustrations of Anton/Oskar/Raphael/Mika.

Hello people!
I'm constantly thinking about how to speed up drawing G&G. I already have help with the flats, which is amazing. I decided that I want to consequently use a big part of the money from Patreon to invest into the production of Green&Gold. That makes it more transparent for you, to see where your money goes to.
With $400/month, I want to hire a colorist who can help with light and shadows. This will help me to concentrate on writing the script, doing the thumb...
Maybe some of you watched this being drawn in the stream :)
This picture will be on a spread in volume 2. It has been some time since I rendered a bigger illu but I'm pretty happy with it.
