The rest of chapter 3 has been sketched out! I'm glad the most difficult part is over now. The rest also takes much time, but is somehow relaxing since I don't have to think about poses or anything else.

Ahhh ... Justus. Has been a long time since I've drawn him. He's still pretty secret but he will turn up later in Green&Gold. He's a very difficult character, but that's just how I like it, haha.
Not to spoil much, but he goes to another school than everyone else.
/End of this scene. (Again, nothing "happened" ... but there will be some more interesting things coming up, I promise! Really had to introduce Levi properly, otherwise I'd have hated myself forever.)

I'm thinking about Piets parents and his childhood recently and wanted to give his parents a new face. I've drawn them before, but I always wanted to define them a bit more. Jens probably grows a beard when he's too lazy to shave ~ They were 25 when Piet was born. Pretty early since they both just finished uni I guess? But it worked out somehow without them being less successful.

This is still faaaaaar away!! But I had the urge to sketch this out after I finished the last job. It's just such a good feeling to visualize something that's going to be printed at some point *_* It's motivating, too!
I'm still not sure if the person you see on the right should always be the one who's going to be on the cover of the next volume. In this case, Molle would be on cover 3 and I'm not sure that it fits the plot. But then again, I don't even know who will have important screen...

Request something and I'll pick some of your suggestions and turn them into sketches. We'll see how it works; maybe once a month?
Feel free to request anything you have in mind. Can be a couple, a specific pose, clothes, an action ... maybe nothing too absurd/silly though :) (like "Tim in a space suit fighting dinosaurs")

Sam is a minor character in G&G. He's Levis best friend at boarding school. Very shy and nervous/insecure, but has a calm aura when he's relaxed. (opposite of Levi)
There aren't many pics of him sadly ... I wanted to make his hair a little more distinctive for the comic. ... All my characters have the same hairdo (esp. Piet, Levi, Molle, Tim) ;;>> When I invented them, I didn't notice it at all!!

I'm going to show you the refined sketches instead of the thumbnails! Having crossed the first half of chapter 3, it motivates me to push this chapter forward.
Question: Would you rather see single pages or 2-3 pages uploaded in a single post like I did with the linearts?
I went through old G&G pics and wanted to draw him! He's one of Levis friends from his old school. They still meet on weekends.
Imagine him like 15+ here .... except the one with Levi in the right corner (13/14). He's a veeeery chill dude. I'm not exactly happy with how he looks right now, hm. He will appear later in the comic but until I get there, I'll leave him like that XD
She's also appearing alongside Levi in the next scene. You might not remember her, but she's the girl that yelled at Tim and Molle when they accidentally stumbled in the girls' bathroom :)
