So, I guess September is sci-fi month. We hadn't planned it out that way, but with the Alien-themed Patron wallpapers. we kinda set it up to happen this way. So, September 2024's Public Wallpapers continue this with some Cyberpunk styled content. Almost makes me think we should consider a sci-fi style game in the future.

Here we are, with 0.29.0 ready to roll. By now, this release should give you a pretty good idea of what the final product will look like. Sure we've got a ton of endings to add over the next few months, but in terms of the user interface, the core engine is done and just waiting for the last bits of content to be implemented.

Here we are with our middle update, which means we're trying to get audio coded in, galley items added, and re-shoots and re-writes in process. There's a lot of stuff here we're trying to tie up, knocking out storylines and endings one at a time. Except for Natalie, 0.29.0 closes up everyone else's tales. 0.30.0 is almost entirely endings (which has produced a TON of renders and animations).

Here we are. Time for the Perpetual Day Mode where you can continue all the unfinished content we've been banking for 20+ updates now. Also, by now, there's a potential for you to see one of the four implemented endings (even if the code may make it hard to pull off just yet). And if you don't, it'll be fine because you'll get more to see with more of the characters saved by the time you finish the game (planned, currently being implemented over the next few releases).

So, at this point, there isn't much to talk about regarding the game's narrative. The main story is technically at the end (and you may have even tried to play the ending sequence to get the bad ending), but there's a fair bit of content left to wrap up over the next few months. We're implementing the previously mentioned Story Replay and doing a lot of continuity fixes and updates to try and anticipate the numerous ways players can work through the game. As you can imagine, we're already elbow-deep into the next update. Unlike previous chapters, this one's going to have our time spread across finishing up stories (Marisa, Anita, Robin, Roe) and doing endings (Tina, Saaya), while continuing others (Sammy, Kara, Natalie). With the main story set up to move you into the end, we have the Perpetual Day mode implemented so you can finish up all the available content.

Here we are, deep in the heart of this month's release. On top of the main story and all the side content, there's a lot of back-end code and cleanup, including continuity work to remove characters from stories if they've ended their story. 0.27.0 will bring the main story to as close to the end as you can get without us actually not working on it anymore. In fact, your last choice will allow you to go to the end, but at this point, all you can unlock is the Bad End. This will transition to 0.28.0's "perpetual day" mode, where you can just keep going on to finish up other content.
