Halloween is past and I hope everyone was able to celebrate it to some degree. I'm finishing the last variant cover for the Viking Love book, my collaboration with Dale Lazarov, so hopefully will be released this month or the next. I'm inking some pages for Project Hercules, you'll see those in the next couple days.

I decided to have the werebears take two options with the Covid world outside the cave; some to go out and resume their lives, however changed, and some, like the werebear who befriended Hector the reporter to go deeper into the cave into the mystic past... the caveman awaits!

I hope you guys find this interesting. I've had this idea kicking around for some time, thought maybe I'd try it as a fantasy novel - but went ahead and started sketching it. I was always intrigued by the Medusa myth, and always saw her portrayed as evil, as in a Wonder Woman comic run some years back. Here's some of the non - male art I've done. An acrylic painting I did some years ago, trying to duplicate model box art and see if I could paint in this hyper realistic style. It took me around 30 hours to complete.

Another strip idea I'm not sure I'll go with. I've been intrigued with the idea of the Werebears returning from their winter in the hibernation cave, finding things have changed in several months from the pandemic. I like the Rip Van Winkle effect, but not sure if this approach is valid - I think the werebears would stay in contact with the world outside while in the cave and be aware of Covid-19.
