July 17 Update

Been a long time since we had an update without fanart. That was a good run.

Previously, I'd mentioned struggling to keep up with everything I have in the air. Now I'm feeling better and keeping all the spinning plates and balls going isn't daunting. Core progress might not be at 100%, but I'm able to keep things moving forward along with handling the rest.

July 10 Update

We have what may be a first: a fan comic! I hope people enjoy it. So much of this fanart has come from patron Argo The Ratfolk, so I want to thank him especially. He's added so much variety and cuteness to the TLS experience. ^-^

TLS 0.62.0 Released

This is an unusual one instead of a normal content update. There was a long-standing critical bug finally fixed, an edge case that only affected a few people, but ruined their saves. I had three choices:

A) Hold the fix until the next release.

B) Do an immediate patch.

C) Bundle the fix with a few other things.

Finished Scene Art Set #27

Patreon is being obnoxious with uploading these, so I'm afraid you're just getting one image per scene this batch. This is actually a combination of two different sets Annikath finished because I was not on the ball enough to post the first one.

July 3 Update

This was the week! I accomplished a lot, and more importantly, I felt really good about it. I'm hopeful that this will be a turning point, but I'm keeping this post short to stay focused.

Last week my productivity was high volume but a bit erratic. Most likely, this week will lead to more polishing and refinement. So next update I hope I will have some harder numbers and plans.

June 26 Update

I feel that I should clarify that I am not doing badly overall. I have been steadfast in exercise and self-care over this period, and I've used this time to repair some equipment and deal with some business things that had been put off.

Like last week, but worse. Memorial events + extended family + Father's Day means this week is going to consistently drain all my reserves. This is actually being written/scheduled midweek when I could.

June 12 Update

There's more fanart waiting, but instead this week is a comic from me. June 4 Update

Early update in the hopes I can mentally wrap up this week and move on to the next. TLS 0.61.1 seems to be fine, which is good. I'm not sure when the next update will be, but I would like for it to be a hefty one.

Work sucks right now. I want to sink myself fully into something without any baggage, but everything I feel like doing either isn't coming together or would create a lot more work for my future self. Need the endorphins from flow state. =/

My mother has died. This is the end of a long struggle with cancer, so it isn't a shock. I may be slow to respond over the coming period, but I don't anticipate long term delays.

Whew. I'd hoped this would be a quieter week when I could begin shifting priorities and energy, but it ended up being completely filled by OEA work.

This period is always odd. I know that people are playing thousands of hours of my work based on Steam analytics, but I know little about those hours. There are some reviews I'm very grateful for, a few threads/comments, and a little Discord chatter. OEA Pre-Release Build

Sometimes on release days I'm working right up to the deadline... but not today! I figured that, given how this isn't new TLS content, there's no reason to artificially delay putting out this one, even if many don't have time to play yet.

Basically, this is the build of OEA I intend to go live with unless there are further reports. Later today, I intend to make this build internally live on Steam, which is relevant because I'll be sending out some early codes to Steam curators.

March 27 Update

The fourth phase continues, this time with more characters' second scenes! I decided to start with Sabitha's, because I'm extremely fond of it. ^-^ Maybe it's an unusual choice to illustrate the non-sexual parts of a scene, but in a game like TLS with hundreds of scenes, I think some variety is good. Early update post because I'm hoping to start next week fresher.

I spent much of the week trying to get Steam achievements to work, with nothing to show for it. I've received some very kind help trying possible solutions, but in the end I'm no closer than I was with Ouroboros. I currently hate everything. I can be bad with delegation, so it really grates that the one time I'd happily pay money to never touch something again, I can't.
