March 6 Update

Patron genericname12345 continues to bring us decidedly non-generic fanart! I'm especially fond of the personality of the first one. ^-^

February 13 Update

OEA 0.5.2 - final beta?

I've just uploaded a non-essential update that you might want to consider trying. Version 0.5.2 doesn't include any new content, but it does include some new scripts (largely thanks to Decanter). We hope that this will almost eliminate dialogue flickering (which you could test) and the "Cannot read property 'width' of null'" bugs (which are too random). Finished Scene Art Set #24

Four new scenes! This is beginning the new phase, in which we're doing second affection scenes for everyone as well as a few other scenes we felt like adding. I'm fond of how Riala's "cuddle pile" scene turned out - illustrating the dream she grants Simon would be nearly impossible, but Annikath suggested focusing on the real world instead, and I think it worked well.

January 30 Update

Okay, time to talk OEA. Starting with one more piece of fanart from Argo, finishing out the cast! The plan is to release this in late Q1, but the timing has almost nothing to do with how much time/work I put into it. We'd want some delay anything, since releasing near the lunar new year sale is unwise, but there are some other variables.

One factor is testing for final bugs, as well as adding a few tweaks and final assets. I intend to put out another build once a few more things come in...

TLS 0.59 is finally behind me and things seem to be mostly stable. The next update will include some elements I'm really looking forward to, but I also need to update the whole world again and make new maps. More on that later.

January 16 Update

Originally I planned to release a TWC book this weekend, but I delayed it for a number of reasons, among them wanting to spend more time on TLS 0.59.1. There are some tweaks to make now that it's out, but it seems to be in good shape overall for the public release.

Anyway, that means TWC4 is releasing next weekend. I've started jumping through the Amazon hoops and everything. I'll mention it next update, or if you follow my Sarah Lin work you should get a notification on Friday. Fingers...

Bug reports have dropped off, so I'm putting out TLS 0.59.2. The changes aren't substantial, but it's there in case anyone wants to see the fixed scenes, check the final balance tweaks, or just play on the newest version. Unless something new is discovered, this might be the public version.

January 9 Update

Short weekly update for once. TLS 0.59.0 is out, and since there was one hotfix, I guess I'll leave the .1 version to be a significant step up. There will likely be a lot of work with this one, but I'm glad people have generally enjoyed this moment bringing various elements full circle.

2021 in Review

This year was crazy for me. It might seem like I was doing too much, but I said "No" more than I ever have in previous years. I still recall my years of struggling as a creator, so it feels strange to have opportunities thrown at me right and left.

December 19 Update

Events attempted to conspire against me, but I overcame them! This was the best week for TLS work in a while, making some good progress. Of course, I want to be making great progress, not good progress, so I'm going to keep this post short and hope that this momentum holds.

Finished Scene Art Set #23

December 5 Update

Okay, TLS 0.59.0. I've been working on it for a while, just not making as much progress as I'd wanted. It's easier to make update posts about things that are going well, or discrete accomplishments, than to ramble about vague frustrations.
