I'm picturing maybe a couple of mini-frames to start (maybe a hand putting the VHS in the player; the person's face beginning to change as the movie begins; and then the TV screen fuzzing over to yoga) and then a big frame showing the finished yoga-wolf.

Fortnightly Update 24: Spooktober Begins! Plenty of WIPs! Laaawn!

Hey everyone, happy Spooktober to you all :)  Coming up this time we've got three WIPs and an update on my garden situation.

Firstly, the monthly poll launched yesterday and the spread of votes has been great so far - probably because the ideas are wonderful this time (thanks again to Maple, Something Tanuki and Sebastian Camber for their contributions) and honestly i'm hyped to draw whatever wins!

Spooktober 2021 Monthly Poll

It's my favourite time of year :)  The kookiest, spookiest month is here, and i've got some ghoulishly fun ( and mostly Deer Friend suggested ) options here!

Hey everyone - i've been having a think about some poll options for next month and before i fall back on some horribly generic options, i wanted to know if you Deer Friends had any?

Totally Fetish Fuel ( Hypno Alt. )

Love me some hypno, so it was kind of a given that one of the traps Clover ends up triggering would be entrancing...  hopefully Sam doesn't fall for it as well- too late.

I've been asked to do a Demi-TF a couple of times now (shout out to Taylor this time) so I figured why not give it a go?  An alternate of the torn clothes alt, so we get some more exposed skin ;)

I kinda feel bad not making this the default, since Torn Clothes is where it's at for TF *and* WG art in my opinion.  But also, I kinda wanna save the best stuff for you lovely patrons, so here we are :)  

It's not quite the Late TF alt that Paul Revere requested, but hopefully you'll agree it's got more TF energy than the base art :) 

Fortnightly Update 23: Fat Cats, Fat Tanukis, Fat Toe

Wassssssuuuuup everybody, it's time for another fortnightly update. I've been very busy, and this time i've got an update on the Poll Winner, the big tanuki commission, and my new-home life. Also, what would you want to see in next month's spooky poll?

First up, let's talk art: in the last two weeks i've gotten cracking on the Totally Spies art. Lines and flat colours are done, which means I should have it finished in the next week:

Art Explained Mini: Thumbnailing a Fat Cat

I've just finished the rough sketch for this month's poll winner, and i figured i'd mention the technique that i'm trying out for it.

Since i've been drawing mini comics / sequences more frequently, i've been giving "thumbnailing" a go. This is where you do a basic outline of the page in low fidelity and then use that as a base for your actual lineart.

I'm really new to it, but already i've found it to boost my speed at drawing comics - and with the magic of digital art, expanding...

Winner of September Monthly Poll: Clover

That was unexpected! Harley Quinn was ahead until yesterday and then at the last minute someone must've had a change of heart and bam: "Totally Fetish Fuel ( Clover of Totally Spies -> F Cat, WG via cookies )" won the day.

This'll make a nice pinup - maybe Clover's breaking the fourth wall and commenting on how ridiculous the whole situation is, as she's shot with cat darts and munches on fattening cookies?

Fortnightly Update 22: Comic Commissions, Wow!

Hey everyone, welcome to September! (Skunktember for some of you, Techtember for MKBHD fans) Hopefully this update finds you well - and what an update it is!  Because I never learn my lesson, i've taken on two TF sequence commissions, and have started working on both of them concurrently. Also i've been doing IRL house stuff. I'm very tired.

September 2021 Monthly Poll

This month's theme started off as "Transformations from Cartoons" and i think i've mostly stuck to it, with some almost-canon TFs here :)

Sorry if Furry Ladies aren't your thing, i'll try and get a bit more variety for next month (SPOOKTOBER!!!!)

This one goes out to the people who voted for the kangaroo because it said "feet" - dialing back the change a little bit to see how those mighty stompers took shape. Plus a bit of change on her hand and face, which hopefully doesn't feel too random.

Hey everyone, i'm writing this on friday evening, having spent much of the day moving my belongings for the second time in as many months because, at long bloody last, I have my own house! More on that later, first let's talk art.

Fortnightly Update 20: Cuddles and Kangaroos

Hey everyone and welcome back to another fortnightly update. This time i've got a super rough intial sketch for the monthly poll winner and a cute less-rough sketch for the commission i'm currently working on. Plus, a couple of naturey photos! 

First up, i'm really proud of how this new commission is coming along. It's my most intimate two-character drawing yet - in terms of surface area contact of the characters at least, what Cheetah did to Wonder Woman is something else...

This month was a real close one, and thanks for breaking the tie between the curvy cat lady and our macropodian jogger :)

My current plan is a single image of her sat on her new roo tail, rather distressed that her big kangaroo paws have shredded her new "Rooboks". (Side note: kangaroo paws are pretty weird)

If the full moon can turn you into a wolf person, why can't it also make you fat? Possibly the most tenuous case for weight gain i've yet done, and pretty minor in the end.  But i think the dialogue redeems it a bit 🤞

Fortnightly Update 17: Hot Dog

Hey everyone, another fortnightly update is here. This time i'll have a super rough sketch of my next commission, and another update on the Patreon piece.

I sure am glad to be typing this in a much cooler office, now that the heatwave here in the UK is over. House moving has settled down now, and i've had more time to draw.  Goodness knows why I chose to do a three part sequence for patreon on the month I moved house, but progress has been okay - i've got the first frame finished (...

Hey everyone- I don't know if life blogs was part of why you support me here, but by golly have I got one of them anyways (and an art update, scroll to the bottom!)

So, yesterday and today i've been non-stop moving boxes and furniture - the whole housemove hullabaloo. What didn't improve matters was it being a really hot night, and then when I finally did fall asleep, a door fell on my head.

So the flooring company haven't yet finished doing the floor downstairs, meaning we can't ...

Fortnightly Update 16: Anthony's Song

Hey everyone, it's time for another fortnightly update. This time i've got a super early WIP for the Patreon piece, as well as a look at a personal project that i've had bubbling away for at least a month that i might never finish.

First thing - i don't have any particular idea for an Art Explained post this month so I might skip it, if that's alright? I know the draw of the $3 tier is the art alts anyway, but if you have any suggestions for a topic I can whip one up!

Fluffy werewuff time! A fantastic spread of results this month, and i'm really happy with the winner (thanks to Something Tanuki for the suggestion)

Current plan is to have a couple of frames maybe, with one having her only a bit transformed in front of a floorfan and then the other having her mostly/fully transformed in bed, struggling to sleep.
