I've finally struggled through the chaos of the holidays and a little bit of sickness to finish up the first mechanics test of VCraft. I've included instructions on how the mechanics of it work in a txt file below, so I won't use any of the space here to go into details about it.

I just want to start by saying that 4.0.0's main progress is still going to be delayed a bit due to Teegy (my animator) still needing more time to remake things he lost when his computer died.
So to fill this time, I'll be working primarily on VCraft as I can't really do much else on PCraft without the animations I need.

I have been sort of wanting to do a bit more for a Halloween update. This can't be adding new preds and such due to the pressure of preparing 4.0.0, but I could add some smaller stuff like extra variants and little easter eggs alongside other stuff.
Since I wouldn't have to wait for my animator to make new animations, I could get this out decently quickly in order to satiate appetites until I can finally get the first 4.0.0 playtest out. This Halloween update would be released as 3.2.0 ...

Heya, just wanted to let you guys know that the first playtest of 4.0.0 should be out within a couple weeks. I was intending to have it done sooner but my animator got really sick and has been needing time to recover so I’m still waiting on a couple animations.

Heya everyone! I've been taking some much needed time to rest and recover from some irl stuff recently and wanted to share with you guys my current plans for the 4.0.0 playtest that Supporter+ members will receive.
At the moment, I plan to split 4.0.0 into 2 main phases of production: mechanics and preds. The first few playtests will only be about the updated mechanics, both the struggle system rework and new animations + updates for the older preds to give them a little more life~

My previous fix on Rabbit Wizards somehow made it so villages no longer load properly and softlock you. This patch is putting a temporary solution into effect to prevent this.

Warning: This patch might cause crashes in worlds where a Scarecrow is already loaded due to some extra attributes I added to them.
These bugs were reported on the Discord and a few of them were big enough to warrant another patch. I am hoping that this will be the last one, but there is a chance it won't if anything else big is found that needs a little more testing.

Scarecrows now prevent crops from being trampled from any mobs in their protective area, not just themselves
If a creeper explodes when a Scarecrow was its attack target and it was the Scarecrow's attack target, the Scarecrow will prevent it from damaging the terrain
